Great location, cute place. Would stay again.

Enough space for many guests at a reasonable price. Nice pubs and restaurants nearby.

Shower was ice cold the morning we were due to go to a wedding. Was fixed later that afternoon after speaking with host.

Absolutely perfect would definitely stay again.

Location was perfect as my Dad lives in Scalby and this was just around the corner. We had breakfast at the Daisy Tea Room which we would highly recommend (have used The Yew Tree before but this was closed for refurbishment at the moment). Kitchen facilities at Beckview were excellent but we were on a short visit to celebrate my Dad’s 90th so didn’t want to cook. Everything was clean and tidy and the heating worked a treat in the cold, snowy/rainy weather.

Good location for visiting family

Excellent location for visit - close to family. Spacious. Warm.

Only one toilet. Bath in bathroom - better to have walk in shower and extra toilet. Not easy to get mixer taps to maintain the right water temperature. Hooks and towel rails needed. Placement of beds in bedrooms. Head height is a problem. Care needed not to bang head!!!

Perfect for what we needed, really comfy and great location

Was bigger than we expected, really clean, beds and bedding super comfy, bath was huge and our kids loved it!

Being picky as they wasn’t anything we didn’t like! They was a couple of big cobwebs but it’s an old loft so it’s understandable

Fabulous stay in a clean apartment - would recommend!

The location was great and the property was clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen had lots of utensils, pots and pans and was very tidy.

The fridge door was open when we got there and the freezer door was broken so the fridge did keep opening, we just had to make sure we pushed it firmly to keep it closed. A slightly bigger freezer part would be good too, however the host did message to apologies about this and pointed out that they're looking to get a new one soon :)

Ideal location, just across from Scalby village & close to North Bay. Great parking. Bus stop just outside. Good supermarket close by. Great cooking facilities. Nice to sit outside on the balcony. Super comfy beds.

Could have been a little cleaner, lots of cobwebs. Balcony needed cleaning up. Toilet flush kept sticking on. Fusty aroma.

Lovely spacious apartment

Lovely location , really nice apartment the only downside was the balcony needed a good clean/sweep to get rid of the leaves, as they ended up in the apartment from people walking in and out , and we did not have a hover to clean them up …..otherwise amazing and will happily stay again 👌

A fantastic gem for a staycation!

Beckview Apartment has a lovely ambience and is spacious, clean and modern. Almost like home from home as it has all the amenities, even provided a Welcome folder, with all the local interests, shops and eateries, etc. that one may be interested in. Plenty of car parking space, easy access to Whitby and Scarborough and other places nearby. Scalby is a beautiful area with lots of characteristic buildings around. I was pleasantly surprised as I have never visited Scalby before until now and stayed there to attend a wedding in Hackness Grange. Such a lovely apartment and would 100% definitely recommend! Love the fact that it's above a recording studio!! Oh and the bath is definitely to die for!!!

Nothing to dislike really, could do with an iron inside the property. Also, the stairs up to the property are a little steep but not a problem to any of us, but would be nice to mention in case one may have difficulty, mobility wise.

Great Value Large Modern Apartment

The value for money was great, extremely cheap, lovely modern place ideal for 2 nights away for a group of friends going to a wedding. 3 double bedrooms, ample room in master bedroom, good cooking facilities. Large kitchen area. Dishwasher too. WiFi and TV with Netflix. Loads of parking. Had questions for the host, they replied instantly and was able to be lenient on an extra hour of check-out time

Not really much to say here. A small bottle of milk in the fridge for hot drinks would have been good? But just nitpicking.

Lovely stay at this apartment!

Easy to access. Lovely apartment. We had an issue with the toilet not flushing and we contacted the host who dealt with it straight away. He even came to meet us to collect the keys where we were having dinner in a pub. We also asked for a long length mirror to borrow as we had a wedding the next morning - we couldn't believe he brought us one!! So lovely. Would stay again.
