Lovely apartment with all amenities, located very central, easy to get to everywhere

Getting up to the apartment was not easy. We were on the 4th floor and they were very steep stairs with not a lot of room. Was a challenge to get cases up and down.

Location is great, right in the middle of everything. Really clean apartment, comfortable beds. Owner very helpful & good with communication.

Depending on which apartment you choose, that is the amount of flight of stairs you have to climb so beware if you are not quite fit. Balcony very narrow so unable to sit out on it but this is unavoidable for the owner.

Great location. Had all the basic facilities required of a self catering apartment including air-conditioning and a washing machine.

I was aware that the apartment didn’t have a lift when I booked, but I didn’t realised it was up 8 flights of steps! this would put me off staying again. There is a lovely sized twin bedroom (which my children shared) but the double room is very small with an uncomfortable bed (with only one pillow each). I think a couple of the items listed in the facilities are stretching it a little: “Free toiletries” consist of a pump hand soap in the bathroom. I don’t have an issue with there being no toiletries, I wouldn’t actually expect there to be, but I feel it should be taken out of the facilities list. “Views” are also mentioned (in fairness they specify they’re nice views). The view out of the kitchen window is a concrete block wall which hasn’t been rendered, and the view out of the balcony is a big pile of concrete with a load of rubbish. Again, I didn’t stay at the apartment for the views, I picked it due to its great location, but it is rather misleading to have this mentioned in the facilities. The lady managing the apartment was rather standoffish. The washing machine was leaking the day we moved in, so I messaged her. She came round immediately but was extremely defensive and open the conversation by rudely telling me that there wasn’t an issue and that people had been living in the apartment for two months with no problems. I obviously demonstrated to her that the washing machine was leaking (which she had fixed). The apartment has “satellite TV” but we could only find one English news channel, the apartment owner told me there were loads of English channels, I asked for her help to find them and she told me I would have to flick through the channels (which I already had). I saw her there on another occasion and asked again if she could help show us how to work the TV, where she told me for a second time that I would have to look myself.
