Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend in the forest

The lodge was absolutely perfect, it was built with very much attention to detail and it has everything you need for a short or even longer stay. We loved the huge yard, it felt like you are really in the middle of the forest. The lodge is also very close to a lot of trekking trails (including the fortress on the hill top) but also close enough to the city so you can grab a bite to eat and get back to the tranquility of the forest. We definitely want to come back for a longer stay!

Only the mosquitoes bothered us but luckily the lodge has nets on every window so if you are careful enough and use protection spray, you are safe.

Beutiful interior, great location, warm and cosy, the hosts are very responsive, the facilites are very equipped, great view and surrounding, good wifi, parking. I would reccomend to everyone who is looking for a bit of piece and quiet.

Kitsch rip off

I was really disappointed in the host, who tried to extract as much money from me as humanly possible. The price on Booking was 45 euros in total -- then he tells me there's an extra 2 euro tax... Ok. Then, he offers to drive me to the property for 1000 dinara, saying "it'll be twice as much in a taxi." When I took a taxi back down, it was only 800. Then, when you get to the cabin, they have a list indicating they will charge you for the water bottles in the fridge, coca cola, etc. I mean, they really want every last penny they can get from you. I wasn't surprised when the host told me he's just a landlord and lives off his rents. No sense of hospitality. Just extraction. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. It's a pity because the property is beautiful. But he obviously has no connection with it. There wasn't kindling or newspaper to build the fire, nor did the lighter work. It was all very kitsch. So, I'd say if you want a kitsch place and don't mind shelling out money, this is for you. If you're looking for a warm welcome and homey touches, this is not it.

Amazing house, very clean, warm and comfortable. The property itself is very spacious and it was heaven for our dogs. It is surrounded by nature and the hiking tracks are a must if you choose this place.
