The apartment is very pretty and well maintained with all facilities and beautiful views.

As the owner was away - finding the place and collecting the keys was quite difficult. We had to reach people who don't speak a word of English and it took a long time to finaly get together with them. Getting into the apartment is not easy - a lot of steps and so and should be taken to account if you have luggage etc. The air condition only applies to the kitchen and thus the rooms were very very hot.

Nice and cozy for a family + friends getaway

The house is big and cosy and can easily accommodate 6-10 people. We liked sitting around the fireplace and there is an incredible view. It was very clean and warm and whatever we needed we could call John to assist. Makrinitsa is a beautiful village and is quite close on foot.

Not something particular to mention, maybe only a new water boiler for the kitchen needed.

Wonderful house in a beautiful cobbled street mountain village.

What a beautiful place! I wish I could live there. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped and the location is to die for - like living on a cloud. The village is car-free and the main square is just a few (steep) steps away. The house is quite hard to find but the instructions were very detailed and very helpful. Exceptional.

Good

The view and the terrace are the most valuable assets of this property, also house is big enough and well maintained. The upper floor has a nice, large living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (they are situated outside the bedrooms but are easily accessible). Overall, it is a pleasant villa with a spectacular view.

The communication with the hosts is very difficult, they speak very little to no English at all, depending on the host. I did not like the ground floor of the villa. There are supposed to be 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, one of them is located in an mini-apartment which has its own private bathroom, but the other one, I wouldn't call a bedroom at all: the bed is just one mattress situated very close to the ground. My height is 172 cm and I could not fit in that bed, my feet were sticking out. If you are taller than me, it will be even more unpleasant to sleep in that bed. That room itself is small and is probably intended for children, but it should be stated somewhere in the description of the property. Also, the shared bathroom on the ground floor is a joke, it is so small, that you can barely fit in there, not talking about taking a shower (which is a hose that comes out of the sink). In conclusion, I would recommend this villa only if you don't need to use the 4th bedroom and the shared bathroom on the ground floor, everything else was nice.

Comfortable with amazing views and privacy

The property is located in the center of the city just a few meters away from the main square. It is ideal for people that like their privacy and would like to stay to a house that while it is in the center of the traditional village, the same time offers total privacy with greatest views to sea and city of Volos. The house is designed and decorated following the local traditional design and the owner has taken good care of it. As we arrived there, we realized that it was like going home, because everything we needed it was there. I mean, not only good quality of plates but all the electric appliances, 2 refrigerators, washing machine for clothes and dishes, microwave etc, but also sugar, coffee etc. Also, there were 3 TVs with Greek but also multiple foreign news channels. On the upper floor there are a master bedroom and one bedroom with two single beds, an excellent kitchen and a huge room for dining with fireplace, a small library and stereo music player with CDs. Also there is the main bathroom and a smaller one with shower. On the lower level at which also located the main entrance, there are one bedroom with double bed and one bedroom with two singles. There is also a bathroom with shower and a smaller WC. There is hot water 24 hours and the fast WiFi Internet works perfectly to all house, except maybe to the bedroom with the two beds to the lower floor. The whole house is beautifully decorated with old things that people used in the past years. Outside there is an amazing ‘’balcony” with the most amazing view that someone can enjoy and relax at night or during day time. There, can find two tables, chairs, a bench but also a tent and an umbrella for the sun, a fireplace for a small BBQ and even small light candles to create nice atmosphere at night.

There is nothing we didn’t like about the property. The only problem comes from the location itself but it is well expected when someone takes the decision to visit and stay at MAKRINITSA. I mean, that is difficult to access the house with luggages because you have to carry them to very steep little streets and car can not approach. Also, car parking is a small problem. It is located nearby but there are times that is very difficult to find a spot because the small village is very popular all year around.

The location and view was amazing, more than you can imagine, atmosphere inside and outside was taking us out of this world, very clean, in the house everything you need, perfect place for vacation withe the family, The village, Pelion and its beaches out of this world

No plug in the bathtub (, couldnt tune TV, but after all it was too beautiful to watch the tube, a slight smell of oil in the house, I guess heating oil , wasn't problem for me but my wife was a bit sensitive to that,

Πανέμορφο αρχοντικό!

Πήγαμε δύο φιλικές οικογένειες από τέσσερα άτομα η κάθε μία και ήμασταν όλοι πολύ άνετα. Το αρχοντικό έχει στο ισόγειο δύο υπνοδωμάτια και δύο μπάνια και στον όροφο άλλα δύο υπνοδωμάτια και δύο μπάνια. Είχε η κάθε οικογένεια τον όροφό της και ήμασταν πραγματικά πολύ άνετα! Η θέα του σπιτιού καταπληκτική και το πρωινό στην αυλή πολύ ωραίο. Πήγαμε για το τριήμερο της 17/11 και περάσαμε υπέροχα. Η Μακρυνίτσα είναι ένα πανέμορφο "μπαλκόνι" του Πηλίου, που δεν χορταίνεις να κάνεις βόλτες. Έχει και πολλά όμορφα πεζοπορικά μονοπάτια με πολλές πηγές και καταπληκτική θέα.

Στο Πήλιο το δίκτυο ύδρευσης έχει μεγάλη πίεση και αυτό συχνά δημιουργεί προβλήματα στα υδραυλικά των καταλυμμάτων, π.χ. να στάζει μια βρύση. Όμως με λίγη καλή θέληση όλα ξεπερνιούνται και κρατάς την ομορφιά του γραφικού ορεινού χωριού.

Allotjament amb encant i sabor local.

La casa és gran i està molt ben equipada. La vista sobre Volos i el golf és excepcional, brutal. Té una terrassa gran amb taula, cadires, gandules i un gran toldo.

Per arribar a la casa cal anar per un caminet empedrat que rellisca i fa molta pendent de manera que no es pot arrossegar la maleta. A l'arribar al portaló exterior encara falta baixar unes escales fins a la terrassa des d'on s'entra a la casa. Es fa dur.

Κάπως δύσκολη πρόσβαση ειδικά όταν έχεις πολλές αποσκευές σε συνδυασμό με την έλλειψη κοντινού πάρκινγκ. Κάποιες ελλείψεις όπως προσανάμματα και καφές. Η σκάλα στον όροφο λίγο επικίνδυνη για μικρά παιδιά, ίσως ένα πορτάκι να βοηθούσε.

Όμορφο αρχοντικό!

Ένα υπέροχο αρχοντικό, εξαιρετικά εξοπλισμένο, ζεστό και φιλόξενο. Η καθαριότητά του μας εντυπωσίασε! Η υπέροχη θέα του στον Παγασητικό σίγουρα ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίες μας. Κατόπιν συνεννόησης, είχε τοποθετηθεί το πάρκο που ζητήσαμε για το μωρό που ταξίδευε μαζί μας. Εκτιμήσαμε το εγχειρίδιο οδηγιών που στάλθηκε με την ολοκλήρωση της κράτησης, αν και οι συντεταγμένες του parking σε οδηγούν σε άλλο σημείο.

Λόγω του ό,τι είχαμε μωρό σε καρότσι σίγουρα η τοποθεσία δεν ήταν ευκολοπροσβάσιμη. Μόλις ρωτήσαμε τον επιστάτη που μας παρέδωσε τα κλειδιά, αν υπάρχει κάποια άλλη οδός πρόσβασης μας πρότεινε να επιστρέψουμε στον Βόλο. Ευτυχώς υπήρχε και ένας λίγο πιο ομαλός δρόμος και ο καλός καιρός μας βοήθησε. Δεν υπήρχε σύνδεση στο internet, κάτι για το οποίο δεν είχαμε ενημερωθεί και προετοιμαστεί αναλόγως, οπότε δυσκόλεψε ελαφρώς την κατάσταση για κάποιους από εμας που θέλαμε να δουλέψουμε απομακρυσμένα.
