Il Palazzetto di Via della Frezza

Fabulous location. Couldn’t have been better. Gorgeous house the apartment is in, just stunning. Very spacious apartment and beautiful, needs a bit of renovation from a lot of usage over the years but it was clean, very comfortable and had everything one needs (2 cupboards, lots of hangers, shelves, coat stand, ironing board, iron, hair dryer…). Great communication with the host Stefano. We got such amazing recommendations from him regarding restaurants, cafes, gelateria etc and he was very helpful & professional. Late check out happened to be available during our stay which was very fortunate for us. The apartment is on the 5th floor and there’s even an elevator even though it’s an old building. You can hear the elevator in the apartment but it didn’t bother me (for those who are concerned about it: it wasn’t noticeable with ear plugs according to my friend). Otherwise there’s pretty much no noise (sirens are normal sounds in a huge city and don’t count in my opinion) that would bother you while staying here since it’s located in the historic centre with limited car access and on a quiet pedestrian street (no bars on this street). Since it’s the top floor it gets hot faster but there’s even air conditioning in the bedroom and thanks to all the windows you get a fantastic cross breeze to cool down the place in the morning& evening. There’s no safe which is common though since it’s not a hotel. I can’t stress enough how fantastic it was to stay in such a pretty place that is so central yet so quiet. We felt so at home and didn’t want to leave!!

Die Unterkunft hat eine geniale Lage. Sie liegt nah an der Via del Corso und am Piazza del Popolo aber es ist trotzdem ruhig. Wir konnten alles innerhalb von max. 35min erlaufen. Die Wohnung ist mit Fahrstuhl und Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Die Küche hat alles was man braucht. Der Gastgeber ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns sogar ein Babybett organisiert.

Der Fahrstuhl im Haus ist von der Wohnung aus zu hören. Aber da man tagsüber unterwegs ist und am Abend nicht so viel los ist, haben wir das nicht als besonders störend empfunden.
