Mertoula House

Lovely size property for our group of 6 and alps a baby a cor was provided at no extra charge and also a high chair.The setting is beautiful the views stunning from the back balcony and a lovely large balcony with a large table and chairs at the front. The hosts were very friendly we didn't see much of them as we were out of the property a lot of the time (a car definitely needed if staying here )we were left a lovely home made dessert and a bottle of water for when we arrived which was lovely of them.

The lack of information regarding cleaning or emptying the toilet bins. An information pack in the property explaining what is or isn't provided and where outside bins are,would be very helpful . As you cant flush toilet paper and have to use the bins provided these needed emptying daily but no rubbish bags were provided, we bought some but couldn't find anywhere to put them outside so just left them outside the property where they were then removed. We did get clean towels and sheets left 1 day after I'd enquired on booking.com so unsure if this would have been the case had I not. The hosts speak very little English and Im afraid me Greek not good either ,so communication was difficult to ask any questions.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and professionalism. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we could possibly need. We especially enjoyed the sweets prepared by the host, and fresh fruits from their garden. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable stay.
