Villa Corali Apartments Sea Breath & Pool

We had a really nice stay at villa corali. We liked that it was a small family-run accommodation (approximately 12 accommodations) with a small beach at a one minute walking distance and several nice restaurants within walking distance as well. The pool was really nice too. Angela is a very sweet and helpful host, but everyone who works at the location is extremely helpful and accommodating. As Angela’s brother said on the second day: ‘Here, we are a family’ And that’s how it felt.

The beds weren’t too comfortable and the kitchen is not fully equipped. If you are planning on eating out a lot this shouldn’t be an issue.

Angela is an absolute gem. We really grew fond of her during our stay. The location is very quiet, and there’s great access to the beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas right near the resort. During the off-season, these were even free as long as you bought something at the attached tavern. Unfortunately, I don’t know if that’s the case during the high season as well. You can rent a car right on site. If you don’t want to drive yourself, you can take the bus (there’s a stop right next to the resort) or a taxi (which was very easy for us).

Unfortunately, our apartment was a bit dated. The rooms were very clean, but the furnishings were a bit worn. Some of the furniture was quite wobbly. The kitchen is really only suitable for small snacks, but there are some very good restaurants nearby. It wasn’t quite what we had imagined, but it was okay because we didn’t spend that much time in the room anyway. I also have to admit that, despite that, it was definitely a fair value for the price.

We liked it as it was next to the sea and it had a nice pool in front of our balcony also Georgia the house keeper was great! The decoration of the pool and bar were really nice and made the place lovely to look and be at especially in the evening with all the lights.

-The shower was not what we expected at all it was flooding with water every time we would use the shower - Kitchen equipment was very old and too used - We could not sleep normally during the night because we could significantly hear the neighbours from all around being loud or even just doing normal things like showering etc -We didn’t have a remote for the tv -The air conditioning was not working -There were a ton of mosquitoes inside our apartment -We and all other guests should have been warned by the owners who know about the so called dragon fish that is often stepped on at the beach as their poison can be dangerous. We ended up having to go to the hospital and getting a shot of tetanus after stepping on it while this could’ve been avoided if we would have been warned about it.
