Drive on out here to our beautiful "Island Hideaway" in your 4x4...OR...If you prefer...Drive your own boat over to your own private dock or take our ten-minute "Water Taxi" from Knott's Island, NC...You'll be able to pull right up to your hideaway. The cottage is only a short walk or drive to the beach where seagulls soar, sandpipers scurry, and Corolla ponies roam freely--a fisherman's and adventurer's paradise! Always wanted to drive on the beach but don't have a four wheel drive vehicle?? No problem...We can pick you up and bring you down the beach to the cottage and accommodate you with a Jeep for the fun of beach driving, visiting Corolla or Duck for restaurants, shopping or just to tour around and enjoy the beautiful sites...You'll have freedom to enjoy private campfires onsite, or pitch a tent if you like...Kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards are available at no additional charge.

Our stay was great. Exactly as described. Rhonda and Chase were extremely nice and welcoming. Checked on us daily to make sure we were doing ok and to make sure there was nothing we needed.

My gf and I stayed at the cottage for 5 days and 4 nights. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Both are very nice and available but were not intrusive on our vacation. This is a great option for first time visitors in the OBX.

A lovely space on the owners property. Clean and comfortable. Ronda even brought us ice one day. You definitely need 4 wheel drive to get there. A fun adventure driving on the beach. You feel like you’re really away from everything. Saw a few wild horses from a distance. It was a nice relaxing break.

THe property was great. The room was a little small but pretty. Rhonda was very nice and shared a lot of things with us.
