Comfortable, friendly and convenient for Nusa Penida.

Ani was so friendly and made me feel at home straight away. The noodles for breakfast were so delicious and Ani helped me plan my whole day after I had to change plans because my bag was lost at the airport. She was checking in to see how I was getting on and also organised and dropped me off at the boat to go to Nusa Penida when my stay was over.

Not a holiday

Friendly service, nice little splash pool to cool off in and meet others. Room is clean and nice towels.

There is nothing in this area, it was very difficult to get some rest, as it was very noisy. The bathroom door could not slide properly.

Good basic accommodation for your ferry transfer.

It was convenient for accessing the ferry port in Serangan. Very basic accommodation, appropriate for the cheap price. Perfect if you want somewhere close to the ferry to stay for a night. The woman who owns the place is lovely, she helped suggest ferry companies for me to book my ticket with.

Rooms were dark with minimal natural light. As mentioned for the price you pay it’s what you would expect. On a side note, I booked this accommodation, thinking it was closer to Sanur than what it was (not walking distance). I would only stay here one night as I didn’t feel that there was so much for me to do here. However, it was interesting to see a very local area.

Not beachfront

I went to this hotel cos booking.com said it was beachfront ..but it wasn't..it was opposite the water but had a house inbetween where the owner had chickens and Cockerells outside in cages in the boiling sun with no shade and had a dog tied up to a tree with no water do I gave the dog 2 bottles of water which she gulped down ,complained to the owner then had to leave as couldn't stay there .

The animal's tied up and in cages in the house infront of the hotel. I saw the room, it was ok.but decide to leave and go back to Sanur

Very friendly family-owned place, clean rooms and good breakfast. The location is ideal for transient travelers since it is near the airport and the boat pier. The owner bought the boat ticket for me and also picked me up from the airport.

Not the best location for a whole Bali holiday, as the area is not very pretty and doesn‘t have a good beach. But it is very good to arrive or depart Bali from there.

A friendly authentic homestay.

Kadek and her son were so lovely and accommodating. We got picked up from the airport by the son and driven to the homestay. The sunrise in the morning was stunning and our breakfast was so tasty.

We only booked this stay as we thought it was the closest option for getting the ferry over to the Gili Islands which we let Kadek organise for us however she booked us a ticket for a boat which took 1 hour to travel to, so, in the end, our stay their kind of didn't make any sense and if i had known we would be driving an hour to a ferry further away i potentially wouldnt have booked. However our first night in bali was lovely and authentic and everyone was really friendly :) The sunrise the next morning was beautiful and it was really lovely to sit out side and watch it. Thankyou Kadek and family :)

Lovely homestay

The staff were super friendly, they picked us up from the airport and took out to our boat the next morning. The air con was very good, our room was very comfortable The breakfast was also delicious.

Mattress was firmer than I prefer.

Superb

Super friendly and helpful hostess and her kids. They gave us a lot of helpful recommendations on what to do and information in general on life in bali. They were sociable. The general atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. Which probably also affected the interaction between guests. Everyone was very friendly and talkative. The beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

The location is a bit outside the city itself. The rooms are a bit small for 8 people with luggage but it's easily manageable and maybe also a reason why everyone talks to everyone.

great location for a night stay before catching your boat from the nearby harbour early the following morning. they stayed up until 1am for us as we were late coming from the airport. rooms were basic but clean, great value for money

We stayed here the night before getting the boat to Nusa Penida from Serangan. The host, Kadek, was the nicest person ever, she is kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. It is a perfect place to stay when getting the boat the next morning.

Everything was perfect, however we were in a room to the front of the homestay beside reception/the common area so it was quite loud from people coming and going when we were trying to sleep. Other than this, everything else was perfect and I would highly recommend to stay here.

Such a simple and beautiful place to stay. Can't get much closer to the port to get over to Gili. Exceptional staff that were beyond friendly and caring even kept in contact with our boat transfer so they could coordinate our breakfast. Breakfast was inclusive and was amazing!

We had a double room and a bunk in a shared room. The only downside was the shared room was a bit hot and not quite as comfy as the private bed.

Annie was very friendly. The accommodation is clean. it’s about the only place you’d want to stay in Serangen.

Make no mistake this island is closed you can only access the town. I made the mistake of booking 3 nights here thinking I could see the coral farms and surf the waves at Serangen from the beach. you cannot access the side of the island with beaches, there are boats to take you but you can’t see the surf before you go so.. it’s a very poor area and located next to a waste dump that smells awful if the wind is the wrong direction.

Pleasant stay, I recommend without hesitation

The host, Kadek is very nice, she really takes care of her guests. She manages to help you if you have any worries, she is very generous and shares lots of advice, makes us taste lots of local products. She cooks very well and knows how to make us smile. It's the homestay where I felt most surrounded by a very good atmosphere!
