Elegance and simplicity at the same time.

Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich von einer Dame empfangen, die perfektes Englisch sprach – genauso wie auch das restliche Personal, mit dem man sich jederzeit problemlos verständigen konnte. Alle Mitarbeiter waren herzlich und aufmerksam, was den Aufenthalt sofort sehr angenehm machte. Die gesamte Anlage ist gepflegt und hat eine charmante historische Ausstrahlung. Besonders der Poolbereich mit Liegen und Bar lädt zum Entspannen ein, und abends kann man in schöner Atmosphäre draußen essen.
Das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight: Alles am Buffet war hausgemacht und das konnte man deutlich schmecken. Das Brot kam morgens noch warm auf den Tisch, und zusätzlich konnte man herzhafte Speisen direkt in der Küche bestellen. Auch das Abendessen war hervorragend – man speist à la carte, die Auswahl ist sehr gelungen und die Qualität absolut überzeugend. Insgesamt fanden wir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis außergewöhnlich gut. Schön war auch, dass man vom hauseigenen Olivenöl etwas mitnehmen konnte. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, und das moderne Bad bot alles, was man braucht. Handtücher, Kosmetiktücher und sogar Pooltücher zum Ausleihen an der Bar waren vorhanden.
Man konnte unkompliziert direkt vor der Tür des Anwesens parken.
Etwas weniger überzeugt hat uns das Zimmer selbst, das für unseren Geschmack recht schlicht und kühl eingerichtet war, fast ein wenig klösterlich. Das ist sicherlich Geschmackssache, aber uns fehlte es ein wenig an Gemütlichkeit. Das Hotel liegt in der Einflugschneise des Flughafens und in der Nähe einer Bahnlinie, sodass man hin und wieder Geräusche hört. Während unseres Aufenthalts hat uns das aber nicht gestört.

We had a lovely time. It's a beautiful, relaxing, place, a perfect location to spend a weekend. We enjoyed the rural surrounding so close to Rome, some excellent nearby restaurants, the pool. The entire staff was hospitable, responsive, and helpful. We had a wonderful experience.
