Am Rande der Stadt, in schöner Natur, ruhig und entspannt. Frische Luft und viele Tiere auf einem schönen Bauernhof mit Möglichkeiten zum Pferde reiten. Netter Gastgeber, zu jeder Zeit erreichbar. Ausgezeichneter Preis- Leistung Verhältnis. Danke!
Nicht ganz einfach zu finden, trotzdem aber möglich. Die Hygiene, auch auf dem ganzen Hoff, könnte verbessert werden.
Kommen wir aber doch gerne wieder!

I adored the set up of the room, the overall energy of the place, the rooftop overlooking the trees. The owners were very chill, respectful and welcoming. Very present Bulgarian hospitality! Upon arrival, the communication via whatsapp was super helpful!
Aside from the room, which was very clean and ready for a guest, I felt that the kitchen space wasn't exaclty prepped for a paying guest. I think having a communal fridge would have been helpful, as the one in the room is good for some snacks and treats, but maybe for longer term guests, being shown a bigger fridge upon arrival.
I am a solo woman traveling alone and was not aware that their was no one else on the property for my second night. There are many animals on the farm which is nice, but I felt very fearful as I believe another animal such as a wild hog/maybe even a wolf was around. For some nature people, this isn't a problem, but being secluded and not knowing the neighbors or not even one guest or host on the property that night, as more of a city girl, made me feel pretty scared until the morning when the farmhands arrived.
If you are more of an avid hiker, someone looking to have a cute space, but spend most of your days out on the trails less than yoga/meditation/solitude practice, this is a good space. The hosts and farmhands are kind and enjoy being social when there, and when they are not there, you are very much secluded with many animals!

Tree House is ideally located for exploring the N and E sides of Vitosha. Finding the main Vitosha trails from Tree House is tricky : one way is up the pony trekking track for 300 m, then fork right twice, then hard right after two trees with large letters carved in them. After a 300 m climb that takes you to the water fountain at the road-head where many marked trails begin. There were many animals (hens, cockerels, deer, donkey, cows, turkey, geese, peacock + the horses) including a very friendly old large dog and kittens. The Tree House structure is ingeniously built, with a delightful open, roofed space at the top.
Tree House is basically un-manned. The "horseman" who is often on-site has no English and is not concerned with the guest house side of the business. So try to get a phone number of one of the young horse riders who might be there when you arrive. There was no breakfast provided. The room has a small fridge and there is a small (untidy and dirty) kitchen in the main house. Stock up at the Lidl (45 mins walk away) with breakfast, and other meal items. Expect to be woken at sunrise by the animals. (The hot tap in the bathroom needs a small fix.) To reach Tree House on foot, stay on the main road until the turn by the small chapel and tyre depot - that way is shorter on the small steep lanes up to Tree House.
