I really liked the location, if it is top priority, than this place is one of the best option comparing price and value. The owner is very communicative, he detailed everything well, and we could also do late check-in. When we needed something he tried to do his best even when he was out of town. Air conditioning is also a great plus, available in both rooms, working well. I liked that the flat is not facing any busy streets so it is calm during the night (there was one noisy lady in the house, but I don’t know whether she lives there or it was an other tourist). Every important location and shops are available nearby (hypermarket, train station, bakery, some street food places, old town and beach as well).

The one and only annoying part is the cleanliness of the apartment. When we arrived late night we realised that all the previous reviews were valid. This means dirty bedsheet, sticky kitchen counter, dusty chairs and tables, questionable bathroom and literally hair everywhere. We had to clean everything ourselves and even though we discussed it with the host and he replaced the bedsheet as soon as he could, we cannot overlook this downside of our stay. I know that at this price you cannot afford a hotel level flat, but cleanliness should be a basic requirement. I believe the host when he says it was cleaned, but I also believe that the cleaning service does not do its job properly.

The place looked pretty much exactly like the pictures, all classic Ikea furniture. It had a comfortable bed and an extensible couch, so it accommodated 4 people quite well. There was a coffee machine, a washing machine, 2 ACs (one per room), and pretty good wifi. The location was good, within walking distance of the city center / promenade / bus stations. The self-check-in was a great advantage, as we arrived late in the evening.

The place was not very clean. The floors were quite dirty and we found some bugs and spiders. We could have used a hand towel and some towel racks in the bathroom (we only had one towel per person and nowhere to put them to dry). I would also suggest a waste bin in the bathroom and a proper dish rack in the kitchen.

Needed more towels

Het was een erg fijne locatie en de host was behulpzaam en reageerde vrijwel direct op onze appjes.

De bedden hadden allerlij haren vast in het beddengoed. Meteen bij aankomst zagen we dat er blonde haren in zaten terwijl wij alledrie brunettes zijn. Ik weet niet of dit aan de wasmachine lag die het beddengoed niet goed heeft gewassen of dat het beddengoed misschien helemaal niet gewassen was. Ook was er niet goed gespecificeerd dat er een slaapbank was en een tweepersoonsbed.
