When we were planning the vocation we were considering accommodation on the first line, but we didn’t find anything suitable for the family and started searching in other areas. Then we found this Villa and that was our best decision ever. I called the owner of the villa Mr Alain before made 50 per cent deposit, and later on he was in touch and was replying within an hour in booking and what’s app. Closer to the date he shared the numbers of taxi driver and his assistant Chandima who met us in the villa and was with us through the whole stay. Chandima is very kind and was very helpful in any situation and was in touch with me 24/7. He kept villa, swimming pool and area around clean and organized. As for our stay in general: usually my family prefers active vocations and going to tours around the island, but this time we stayed in the villa most of the time and got few tours only. All days we spend on the terrace next to the pool looking for animals walking around. The peacocks are constantly living in the garden and in the evenings fly to the tree tops for the night. Very friendly monkeys come every day for breakfast so you can buy extra bananas for them and they will pose for pictures. Iguanas are living around the pool and you may see them walking from under it. Once a big one even walked into the bedroom but Chandima helped us to get it out so it was fun experience. Mongooses were seen few times, many colorful birds and even a porcupine came once at night. The front side of villa has few ponds with fish and chipmunks are living there and at night you may see jumpy frogs and the garden is filled with fireflies. As for location of villa: very peaceful and quite place. You feel like you are alone in the whole world. Within 10 min from villa you can reach Galle, Unawatuna beach, groceries. In general we are very happy with our vocation and will definitely will come back. Thanks to Chandima and Mr Alain for our great stay.

Maison spacieuse et très bien située, facile à trouver. La piscine est superbe et nous avons passé de très bons moments. Shandima s'est occupé de nous à merveille : serviable, souriant et très sympathique. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous recommandons vivement cette maison !

Die Lage mitten im Dschungel mit all der Tierwelt ist unglaublich. Der riesige Pool. Die Aussicht auf der Terrasse. Der Gastgeber vor Ort, Chandima, ist unglaublich nett und freundlich und kümmert sich um alle Anliegen die man sich vorstellen kann. Das Frühstück wird von Chandima jeden Tag frisch zubereitet und er verwöhnt einen auf Wunsch auch mit köstlichen heimischen Gerichten.

Leider hatten wir Probleme mit der Wasserversorgung sodass wir erst am vorletzten Tag von 11 Tagen eine einwandfreie Wasserversorgung hatten. Bei starkem Regen löst der Fehlerstromschutzschalter aus, das nachts sehr lästig sein kann. Die Villa ist in die Jahre gekommen und das merkt man. Das Alarmsystem ist unglaublich umständlich, da die alten Balken alle mittels unzähliger Hacken geschlossen werden müssen. Auf Grund des Alters sind diese schwergängig. Auch die riesigen Balkonschiebetüren lassen sich auf Grund des Alters nur schwer öffnen und schließen. Die Betten sind sehr alt und knarzen dementsprechend bei jeder Bewegung. Die Matratzen waren mir und meiner Partnerin zu hart. Die Küche ist zwar vollständig aber auch schon sehr alt. Die Armaturen der Duschen sollte auch alle erneuert werden. Die Beleuchtung im Hauptraum und in den Bädern könnte heller sein.
