Une superbe expérience ! Le lieu est plutôt bien situé, pas très loin de la plage et à seulement 10 minutes de Galle. Nous avions lu les avis concernant le petit-déjeuner, alors nous l’avons pris, et il est vrai qu’il était excellent ! Les hôtes sont adorables. Ils nous ont offert deux noix de coco à notre arrivée, ainsi qu’un bon thé et un excellent gâteau à notre départ. Ils nous ont également amenés à l’arrêt de bus en voiture et nous ont aidés à prendre le bon bus. Vraiment très gentil de leur part ! Cela change de certains hébergements que nous avons faits pendant notre voyage, où les hôtes cherchent surtout à nous vendre des excursions, repas ou trajets à des prix élevés. Ici, les gestes sont sincères et c’est très agréable ! Le jardin est très joli et peuplé de petits animaux. Il y a quelques moustiques (nous sommes venus en période de mousson), mais il y avait une prise anti-moustiques ainsi qu’une moustiquaire, donc cela n’a posé aucun problème.

La salle de bain est un peu rustique, mais pour deux nuits, cela ne nous a pas posé de problème.

Milky Way Holiday Resort -this is my favorite place in Sri Lanka. I am returning here for the third time, and every visit feels like coming home. For me, this is much more than just a hotel or a resort — it is a true place of healing, renewal, and inner peace. Time seems to slow down here, while all the worries and stress of city life fade far into the background. If you are looking for tranquility, serenity, a close connection with nature, and a chance to completely recharge, this is the perfect place for you. The resort grounds are spacious, beautifully maintained, and absolutely stunning. Surrounded by lush tropical jungle, exotic plants, colorful flowers, ponds, and breathtaking natural scenery, it offers a truly unique experience. Every day, you can observe wildlife in its natural habitat: monkeys, monitor lizards, peacocks, exotic birds, bright-colored crabs, and many other fascinating animals. Waking up to the songs of birds and falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle is a special pleasure that words can hardly describe. It truly feels like a paradise hidden among the jungle. The villas are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. They have everything needed for a long and relaxing stay: a private bathroom, a kitchenette, a comfortable bed, and a wonderful large terrace. The terrace was my favorite place to spend the evenings, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, the beauty of nature, and a delicious dinner that can be ordered from the owners’ restaurant. The family-run restaurant deserves special praise. The food is always fresh, homemade, and prepared with love. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are consistently delicious, and the local dishes are among the best I have tasted anywhere in Sri Lanka. The staff are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Here, you never feel like a customer — you feel like a truly welcome guest. I would also like to express my special gratitude to the owner, Mr. Prasad.

Exceptional stay from start to finish! The surroundings were absolutely breathtaking — peaceful, beautiful nature everywhere you look. It truly felt like a hidden paradise. The host was incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive, making us feel at home right away. Every detail exceeded our expectations, from the comfort to the atmosphere. Without a doubt, this was the best stay we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back!
