Beautiful, peaceful, clean and nothing was too much!

Great but needs update!

I loved the Balinese style villa and the pool is one of the biggest you can get in that area. Unfortunately the villas need to get a major update and beds are not as comfortable. Would only recommend if this is the last option.

Zircon needs to be replaced. New beds! Bathroom is outside - don't go during the rain season. Knifes were missing, coffee cups were broken and they didnt know what a chopping board is.

Great Staff and private for secluded and romantic getaway.

Spacious and private. The bed was comfortable. Great staff and clear guidelines in schedules for cleaning. The staff were attentive and helpful in terms of available and efficient when needed.

The villa we stayed in was a little tired and a little below what the pictures presented. I expected a little more of a luxury feel but it was a little more rustic than expected.

Our stay was brief, management quickly refunded us, and we moved to another villa.

Nothing, the property was not in the conditioned it was advertised.

The villa looked tired and in need of modernisation, the wooden decking was uneven and had screws sticking up or missing, the bath tub and jets had dirt and grime in and around them and was cracked and patched together with tape. The fridge was leaking water when the door was opened and there were stains on the walls in the lounge area. The overall condition was very poor.

We come to Bali a few times a year and never stay in the same place as there is so much to explore but we will definitel

Our villa was amazing. Big pool and not cold. Cabana to lay in and relax, sun loungers, huge aircon sleeping and living area. The outside bathroom is huge and having a shower while watching the fish in the fish pond was just so relaxing. We also had google Tv which gave us movies, music and Netflix which we have never had in bali that actually works. To top it off the Kubu cafe which feels like a personal restaurant just for the villas had the best menu food we have ever eaten in Bali. Normally we would eat in different places but the food was so good here we didn’t want to eat at other places.

Kubu villas are a few minutes walk to Bintang supermarket. Nice 20 minute walk to the beach. It’s a great location and so quiet you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.

A wonderful stay

Close to the main shopping street. The villa was very clean and spacious. Loved the open air bathroom and the koi ponds. The grounds were well kept. The food was great. The onsite spa was fantastic. The staff were absolutely amazing and made me feel very welcome.

Good, but..,

Food is great. The open bathroom and shower are very private and cosy. You can feed the fish. Good thing. The pool is also good but a bit deep in the middle. The whole villa is very private. Located near most of the supermarkets and dine in restaurants.

Expect less than what you see in the pictures. The bed is uncomfortable. Linen is not good. Didn't inform us about the room cleaning schedule, one day our bed wasn't made and the room wasn't cleaned. The access road was under construction so we had to carry our bags from the vehicle to the villa. No help was seen until we reached the reception. Same for when we checkout. The team didn't care. They just blame the construction guys. So 50-50 for staff.

A Villa experience in the heart of the city

The villa is pretty and the staff at the VENUS Spa are incredible. Elva, Risa and etc are just so much fun to be around. Their services were top notch. Loved it. Villas need renovations though.

Booking.com didnt help with the issue .

The property was average clean . There were mosquitos and tadpole in washroom . Plus the breakfast was average . Too far from city about 15mins on bike . Plus dont book via booking.com they are worst when it come to helping out.

There was construction right opposite my villa 12 which would wake me up at 9am everyday . It was a curse after parting till late we never good good sleep .

Gorgeous, didn’t want to leave!

Location was great, very close to Seminyak’s Main Street but totally quiet and peaceful. The huge outdoor sitting area was a beautiful place to relax and read a book, or just to get out of the heat for a bit and the pool was a great size and lovely to dip in and out of. Beds and pillows were really comfy too. I really recommend trying a Shiva massage, as it was one of the best I’ve had.

Breakfast wasn’t included so we used the on-site cafe, but unfortunately the food wasn’t good. I ordered a croissant, which you can’t really go wrong with, but it tasted of soap. Also two portions of packet jam were extra and cost as much as the croissant! Over all it was much more expensive than going to a cafe on the Main Street. We also didn’t get the advertised discount on food or spa treatment as they were for walk-ins, not guests which was a little strange. I have to say it didn’t detract from the whole experience though. It’s a great little place to stay and I wish we were there for longer.

Villa Kubu- perfect!

Clean, spacious... well appointed. Loved the pool, the privacy... huge bathroom. Fed the fish daily... cute. Everything else was really fabulous. Cleaning and fresh linens every second day, gardener and pool cleaned as well.

Bed was a little hard, so I didn't sleep great... but that's my personal opinion.

very nice villa in a quiet area

the staff was always helpful and supportive. the villa was very big and fully equipped with everything we needed. the location was ok, 15 minutes walk from the beach. the experience at the spa was good and having it in the property is very handy

the breakfast was not included, and we ordered it from Kubu cafe. the quality was good and it was always delivered very fast - a bit too expensive, we think.

I booked the villa the day before my travel and received a text on the way that there is a construction nearby and could because bit noisy. It was not mentioned on the booking platform and yes, it was unbearably noisy. After some communication with the management, they accepted to change my villa. It was very nice of them and customer oriented approach but It should have been mentioned transparently on the platform. And please stop stressing people before the c/out. I received a text the day before asking me to leave latest at 11.00 am and i confirmed by replying the text. Then, another text at 9.00 am in the morning, then again at 10.00 am and finally a guy appeared at the door for the reminder at 10.30. You can bug the customers who are delayed to c/ out, but others expect a little respect and peace.

Aged , but no issues with dated buildings , but no kitchenette facilities as stated on here , I really wanted to self feed myself for the experience, only things available was cutlery plates , no microwave no pans , nothing to compliment the villa experience, so for this o wouldn’t recommend,

A little piece of paradise

Amazing stay at Villa Kubu, so peaceful & quiet but just a 10 minute walk to shops & restaurants. Breakfast in the cafe was beautiful & the staff were wonderful especially Awan. The villa & pool were cleaned every 2 days with the mosquito spraying done every day.

Amazing hospitality! The villa was absolutely stunning—spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. The breakfast was delicious and could be enjoyed either in the villa or at the lovely café. The staff were incredibly helpful and delivered top-class service throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

We had breakfast at Kubu Caffe, it was delicious, but you can get better breakfast for less money elswhere.

We were staying at 2 bedroom Villa number 0, Villa was great but they should do repairs, doors in the kitchen cabinets need some simple repairs, that could be done in few minutes, just tighten some screws... there is an amazing kitchen, but missing cooking pans and others, there was no kitchen cloth and sponge for washing the dishes, wooden deck around the pool needs to be replaced and there is a lot of maintenance work that needs to be done in the villa. The pool needs deep cleaning and the light in the pool is not working.

The pool was good and the layout of the villa was very nice. Staff are nice very friendly and always helpful.

The villa was neglected and old ,the air-conditioning in main area where we spent most of our time was not cooling the room. Our fridge was not working and it had to be replaced twice with our shopping going to the bin because it was spoilt. We were also charged on two occasions $50 aud for half a basket of laundry to be washed, and were only notified of the price during checkout. The kitchen was only a sink a fridge that didn't work for the first five days and a portable electric stove we had to request them to bring a microwave to the room. And I also didn't like that the WiFi didn't work properly so I had to use my phone data which was expensive. Also the reception recommended a tour guide that was also misleading and lead to more problems.

Perfect, graag volgende keer weer!

Villa Kubu (nummer 7) was de beste accomodatie van ons verblijf van 3 weken op Bali. De omgeving kenden we al, o.a. op deze locatie hebben we hier ook geboekt, je zit er rustig, met in de directe omgeving (soms zelfs op het complex zelf) spa's, laundry's, restaurantjes en supermarktjes. De villa zelf lag in een mooie tuin met privé zwembad, er zijn goede ligbedden bij het zwembad, twee grote overdekte buitenbedden en een zitje bij een klein keukentje met koffie- en theevoorzieningen. De kamer zelf is ruim, leuk ingericht en comfortabel, er is een goed bed, mooie binnen- en buitenbadkamer en apart een toilet (ook buiten). Verder is de verlichting ruim voldoende en sfeervol, is er tv met netflix, wat heerlijk is om 's avonds in bed nog een filmpje te kijken. Ook de airco werkt prima. Bij regen (wij hadden behoorlijk wat) kun je op het terras de rolgordijnen naar beneden doen, wat de ergste regen buiten houdt. Wat er dan toch op het terras ligt, komt de staff met alle liefde dweilen en droog maken. Bij het Kubu café kun je heerlijke dingen bestellen die je daar kunt gebruiken of die naar je villa kunnen worden gebracht. De staff is heel vriendelijk en professioneel, communicatie gaat veelal via whatsapp en daar wordt direct op gereageerd. Elke dag wordt er schoongemaakt, worden handdoeken (ook de badhandoekken voor bij het zwembad) verwisseld en het bed opgemaakt. Ook komt de staff dagelijks in de middag spuiten tegen muggen en een spiraal aansteken. Je merkt dat overal over nagedacht is, wij hebben het hier heerlijk gehad.

Het was als een droom: De tuin met mooie beplanting, het zwembad, de buiten-living. Heerlijk!

De accomodatie heeft een mooie ligging: Dicht bij winkels en supermarkt, dicht bij het strand. Toch rustig gelegen in een mooie groene omgeving.

De keuken was minimaal uitgerust. Deze heeft een elektrisch kookplaatje met maar 2 pitten die heel langzaam warm worden. Ook misten wij een broodrooster. De keuken is klein in vergelijking met de rest van de accommodatie.
