Villa in Nork

The hosts were kind, welcoming and responsive. The owner contacted us in advance, followed our family’s flights and tried to help whenever we had questions or issues. The house itself was spacious and worked very well for our family stay. The room setup matched the description: 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen/dining area and plenty of space for everyone. We were travelling with my grandmother, and having a large private space with a garden made the whole trip feel much more special than staying in a regular apartment. The entrance area is beautiful, and the garden was one of the highlights of our stay — with roses, fruit trees, mulberries and cherries. We also really enjoyed the glass room connected to the kitchen, where we could sit together, drink tea and spend time as a family. The private barbecue area and table tennis were also very nice additions.

The main issue is that the listing is advertised as “Entire villa” / “The entire place is yours”, but in reality we were given only the first floor, while other guests were staying on the second floor. They did not disturb us and the spaces are separate, but this was not what we expected when booking. The listing also mentions balconies, mountain views and city views, but we did not have access to the second floor, where the balcony/view seems to be. This was disappointing, because these details influenced our decision to book this villa. There were also some maintenance issues with the bathrooms. The showers were leaking, and one bathroom attached to a bedroom had no shower curtain or partition, so water went all over the floor during showers. To avoid waiting for a plumber, my father helped fix one of the shower issues himself. To be fair, the owner appreciated this and later treated us to barbecue, which was a kind gesture. Still, the bathrooms should be better maintained for future guests.

Villa in Nork made our vacation unforgettable. We absolutely loved everything about the house and the hosts- the location, accommodations, comfort, cleanliness, fairness of the value and of course cosiness and quietness. In the beginning it was a little frustrating that the family that owns the villa also live in the same building but it all turned for our benefit as they were super helpful, taking care of the huge and wonderful garden, the specious yard, always responsive to any our needs and requests. At the same time we never felt there were other people living with us in the same building as the entrances were completely separate and everyone had their privacy. The house was super clean and there was everything at list for 2-3 days of living. The Galstyan family spoiled us with so many treats - fresh picked organic fruits straight from the garden, villa made wines and vodkas, homemade sweets and the famous barbecue. We travel a lot but what we experienced here was above every expectation. Thank you Tigran & family !!! We will definitely come back and we will recommend wonderful Villa in Nork to all our friends and family💜
