The location of Queen Mary cottage is very convenient to the centre of Winchcombe, situated in the grounds of Sudeley Castle, Very convenient to the local pub, The White Hart Inn, which served excellent food, and the local shop. Winchcombe was also ideally suited to travel to Bouton on the Water and other Cotswold towns and villages.

Just a few minor irritations, the hot water in the shower was very erratic, running both hot and cold, it was impossible to regulate the temperature to remain constant. This is the same problem I had when staying at Emma Dent's cottage a couple of years ago, obviously nothing has been done about the erratic water pressure. The under stairs cupboard could do with a few hooks to hang coats. One big problem was the access to the cottage. The cottages are located on Castle Street, which on arrival was closed for access. The diversion took us 10 Miles out of Winchcombe. This was utterly ridiculous as there was a shorter diversion using Rushley Lane, a 3 mile diversion. We should have been informed of this by Bolthole.

Exceptionally clean and modern, great facilities - had everything. Great walk-in-shower. Short walk into Winchcombe (200 yards to pub). Country walks from the door. Nice little enclosed table and chairs at the back by the parking spaces (trees, and nice) just enough for an evening drink.

Nothing bad at all.

The property was beautifully designed with close proximity to local shops & pubs. They leave you with a starter kit of Nespresso coffee & hot chocolate pods, tea bags, sugar & 1pt of milk.
