I had trouble with the key box as every key box works differently and I really struggled to open it so had to contact the office. Who kindly came and helped. I was annoyed with myself when he showed me as it was simple or just worked differently to ask the others I had used as the one we use at home. Maybe some instructions on the intro letter with the key pad no. Just saying it's this button that releases the cover so I can get the key. Maybe..
My mum who is partially mobile struggled with the steps down to living Area from kitchen as there was no hand rail for her to use and the steps were quite narrow. To balance the sticks on. We knew there were steps and were happy with that it just made her stay a little more complicated which was a shame as the property was excellent in every other respect. It was just that tiny detail that would have made it the excellent grade it was effing where else.

Absolutely beautiful cottage and location overall very happy
The peaceful setting and comfort of cottage.
The cottage wasn’t very clean. There were popcorn packets and a little girls sticker sheet under the sofa I discovered mid stay when hoovering. Also product bottle caps behind the sink and toilet in the bathroom. The shower hose where it loops at the bottom is dirty. The dinning table had the crumbs from the previous guests meal. The two torches provided had no working batteries in them so couldn’t use them to go to the light spectacle last Saturday. These are not criticisms just maybe need to spot check housekeeping efforts occasionally. Oh a the jam and marmalade was a nice touch but there was nothing to use it on. Maybe instead of the mints perhaps some artisan bread ?

Great location, clean cottage. Kitchen really well equipped. Warm and cosy and comfortable. Nice decor. Lots of easy safe, off road parking.
Post code on booking.com different to the one provided by host in email. No accurate directions to find property were given. A little tricky to find in the dark.

Disappointed with noisy neighbours, but lovely on the whole.
Other than the comment above the cottage was lovely in every way for a young family. We might look to book again but not in that particular block.
Only one thing to comment on here, which is that the people staying in the apartment above were extremely noisy in the evenings and we could hear their footsteps on the creaking floorboards and loud voices. This made it very uncomfortable and hard for us and our children to get to sleep. I contacted both onsite facilities and bolthole retreats but with no reply.
