For a party animal with a bunch of teenagers it would've been perfect, even without the proximity.

The "view" was not as advertised in the pictures as you had to lean out and twist your shoulders outside the tiny window in order to see anything beyond the table umbrellas below covering the whole plaza and a glimpse of the water. What you did see was the loud people dining and drinking literally outside that window until late, late. I felt like we could reach out and take something off their table. The noise was bad--and then every morning the trash trucks came to collect all the garbage from the all the cute places on the plaza and that was bad as well. The place was lovely and well tended and as advertised but we rented it for the view in the hopes of a romantic time--not to use the kitchen and the stuffy family room. It was the most expensive place we stayed on the 3 week trip and the least enjoyable.

Home away from home, Peter has thought of everything to make his guests feel comfortable.

It was a perfect location, walking distance to many of the main attractions in Rome and restaurants too. Buses are close for easy access to major areas. The suites are very comfortable and intimate with only having 5 suites all up so it’s a home away from home feeling, especially after long days of sight seeing to be able to come back to relax in the room was something I appreciated, the beds are very comfortable too. The amazing included breakfast put together by Peter using delicious local Italian products which are tailored especially for his guests. Also complementary drinks in a bar fridge which are topped up every day is a wonderful bonus. The room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed and were very quiet even though they are in a busy area. All the staff were so friendly and helpful.

We greatly enjoyed our visit to Cinque Terra! We enjoyed the food, the people, the views, and Mainetta apartment!

Our only issue was that one of the air conditioning units did not work. We appreciated the fact that the staff arranged to repair it, but it was not possible to repair it while we were there. We also appreciated the extra fans.

This is a comfortable apartment in a truly excellent location - I would stay here again.

The apartment was in an incredibly convenient location and provided a great base to explore Cinque Terre. We arrived fairly late so the office was closed but we were provided with very clear instructions and were able to grab our keys from a lockbox with no issues. Our stay coincided with my birthday (which I did not mention) and a bottle of sparkling wine with a birthday note was in the fridge when we arrived which was very kind and unexpected. The apartment had everything we needed and was comfortable for a group of 4. I would recommend it to anyone else staying in Cinque Terre and would stay there again.

I really have no complaints about the apartment we stayed in. Sharing a bathroom with 3 other people can be a bit challenging sometimes but it really wasn't a big deal.

Location was such a good spot.

So so busy hundreds of people flood here and its a tiny wee spot .Far too many people for a tiny place with a tiny beach .You can completely seen everything in the village in half an hour.Places closes early at night hard to have a drink at night.so so so many steps

Great location but be prepared for a noisy night

Great location and layout of the apartment worked well for my wife and our two young children.

With the great location comes the big downside of noise. The noisy restaurant just below us and there is definitely a loud hum that you can hear at night from the railway line. This meant we didn’t sleep great at all and needed to buy some good earplugs.

Location! It is perfect, on. Plaza, next to beach and tourist attractions, like boat rides, hiking trails, shops etc. it is a busy and noisy location during the day but we were perfectly fine, expected it and considered an added bonus as you feel like in the middle of the life. At night it is quiet, during the day we’re out… the only thing that bothered me a little, is you want to keep windows open but then like everyone looks at you(it is pretty low, just first floor on top of restaurant. But again, I would not complain about it.

Perfect location in the center of it all.

The location was absolutely amazing– it was so nice being in the center of everything and it was still only a 5-minute walk to the train station where we could go to any of the other cities in minutes. The apartment itself was pretty spacious and came equipped with most everything we needed, including kitchen utensils and laundry detergent. One huge pro I have to mention is the water pressure in the shower because it was exceptional. Seems small but this was one of our last stops on the leg of our trip and that in itself was incredibly refreshing.

The apartment is advertised as being equipped with "AC", however only the living room and one of the bedrooms actually has an "AC" unit in it. The other bedroom has a rotating vertical fan. The other small thing we had a little trouble with was the instructions regarding all recycled goods. The apartment came with different specified vestibules for recycling and composting (which we thought was fantastic) however there were two signs specifically referencing how to take care of glass recycling, one was encouraging us to allow the cleaning team to remove any discarded glass bottles at the completion of our stay while the other sign above the recycling bin on the wall stated that if more than three bottles were left at the residence, we would be charged an additional fee. Therefore, it recommended taking used glass bottles to a recycling point near the train station.

Location is wonderful.

The location was great!

The apartment is above a restaurant and it seemed that the restaurant may cause the apartment to be hotter than normal. The apartment has room a/c for living room and one bedroom. The main bedroom has a dyson fan, which was nice, but necessary. No window or a/c in that room. The bed was uncomfortable.

Glad to be out of this apartment

This property is advertised promoting their air conditioning.Well, there was a thing stuck on the wall that sounded and looked like an air conditioner, but in fact it was some sort of motor that made a lot of noise but had no ability to cool the room down to a bearable level, the only thing that saved us was the front bedroom had it’s own ac unit and that’s the only reason this place got a three. This was a very expensive rental for three days and at the rates that we were charged, the expectations of what one should receive or expect were not even close. It was a apartment style 2 bedroom place, one bedroom had no aircon so it was basically not usable, the amount of residual heat coming thru the floor made the room unbearable even thou it was the back bedroom and would have added in noise reduction from the bar directly below the apartment. We could not sleep with the windows open to add in the cooling of the place because of the noise coming from the bar and the surrounding square. Nice sized kitchen, living room ok, but no television. Bathroom was ok except for the shower which is so small you can not bend over to wash your legs or feet.

Wonderful and clean apartment in the desirable harbor area of Vernazza. Located on the second floor, so the common Vernazza problem of several flights of stairs is not an issue. Roomy two room apartment, with big living area and nicely appointed kitchen. Property manager Marco is super friendly and helpful with any issue you might encounter.

Perfect location. Inside a little less.

The location is central, close to the beach, local shops, restaurants and train station.

The appartement has two rooms, one has AC not so efficient and is above a noisy bar, the other room has no AC neither windows. sleeping becomes difficult. The height of the ceilings is lower then usual.
