Breathtaking!

An absolutely exceptional stay and easily the most spectacular properties we experienced in Europe. The breathtaking, uninterrupted sea views alone make this place worth booking…they are even more stunning in person. The property was immaculate, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with expansive windows that create a calm, almost cinematic atmosphere. It was easy to get to, and perfectly positioned to capture the coastline. If you are considering booking, don’t hesitate. Places like this are truly special, and we would return in a heartbeat!

Fun and unique location

Great location & quality; very unique

Communication with staff was mixed. They were helpful with late checkout. But they completely ignored 4-5 messages about assistance with bookings, a service they offered. We needed this since we were planning from 9 time zones away. Perhaps it was because of the off season. But ignoring your customers isn’t good.

Absolutely magical! Staying at La Casa del Gigante in Monterosso al Mare was an unforgettable experience. The moment you step onto the property, you're greeted by breathtaking views of the Ligurian Sea - crystal blue water stretching endlessly before you, with waves lapping gently below the iconic cliffs. The location is perfect: everything is within walking distance. You can stroll along the picturesque promenade, explore the quaint shops full of local crafts and delicacies, or pop into one of the many incredible restaurants serving fresh seafood and handmade pasta. The charm of Monterosso comes alive right outside your door. La Casa del Gigante itself is a piece of history, blending timeless architecture with modern comfort. Watching the sunset from the terrace with a glass of wine in hand is an experience I'll never forget. If you're heading to the Cinque Terre and want something truly special, this is the place.

We loved Villa Tanca - the house is huge, well equipped, with food for the first night - Thank You

Our reservation at Gigante was cancelled last-minute, but we were offered a substitute at Villa Tanca instead. It was fantastic.

Exceptional

The location is astounding, the villa is beautiful, stylish and comfortable. Nice little extra touches like pasta, olives, sauces, breakfast food and drink abound. You can just sit at the window and stare at the Cinque Terre stretching off in the distance.

We really liked everything and didn't want to leave.

it was utter perfection. the most beautiful villa in all of Monterosso with a truly magical view.

it was truly magnificent in every sense of the word. the windows, THE VIEW, the local. it could not have been more Perfect! we felt very lucky to stay in such a beautiful villa.

we loved every single thing about the property! everything! the only thing I can think to add, is it would have been great to have a couple bathrobes there, but that’s such a small thing.
