Peaceful stay in a beautiful place

Beautiful accommodation, very peaceful and quiet. Comfortable beds. Plenty of space for a toddler to run around safely. A kitchenette for making light meals. The owner was lovely and really helped us when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again.

It wasn’t a problem for us but people might want to know that the pool is very small - perfect for us because we just wanted to play and splash around but not good if you are expecting to use it for exercise.

paradise just for you!

This place is EXCEPTIONAL. It is a little further out of Perugia than we thought, in the countryside, but it is so gorgeous and has every comfort you might need in a totally unique and very beautiful setting, so you don't care! It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we wanted to have somewhere beautiful to stay and this fitted the bill perfectly. The finished quality of the apartment was very high and the decor stayed within the style of the old chateau. We had all the modern comforts. When we walked in during the intense heatwave, the coolness of the villa was refreshing and this was due to very modern aircon that remained on in both the sitting room and the bedroom. There were some food goodies left and water in the fridge and coffee tabs for the machine. We loved it and the bonus of the swimming pool at the end of the day was beautiful. This has been organised to give guests the best experience and it does not disappoint. The surrounding estate is a delight and from what i could see there are 3 villas currently in the block but there must be more coming I would imagine - there are so many outbuildings. We spent our time speculating! The host was totally available on whatsapp to ask questions and responded very fast - and recommended parking in perugia and a few more local restaurants - all good. But you won't want to stay here - I am sure you can find other places, leaving this for us!

Two things: There is no full length miroor Getting into the swimming pool if you are of short stature is fine, but getting out was a problem - I had to draw up a chair to get down form the edge. This was embarrassing and stopped me using the pool when the other guests were there. A small step or something to put there would solve the problem!

Beautiful Stay with Gorgeous Views

This is a unique stay with a fabulous room view and elegant, romantic premises. The room was beautiful and very clean (the towels smelled incredibly nice!). The historic vibe of the villa makes this a very special experience.

Good stay (albeit a bit misleading photos)

Really cool location and good value for money. We had a nice little kitchen and two bedrooms. They were pretty ok.

Despite the fact that we had a nice stay, it was very different than what we thought we were going for. The photos are a little bit misleading cause they make it seem like you are actually going to stay in the villa but that's not really the case. If anything, we were at the "servants' quarters" which were totally fine, don't get me wrong but the photos are grossly misleading. Especially the "swimming pool" they made it look huge on the photos they show! It wasn't huge.... It was a big sized jacuzzi if anything, not a pool and it wasn't really kept well. Overall good stay but these inconsistencies left me with a meh feeling in the end.

I loved the apartment - the framed art on the walls and the furniture were perfect. The grounds were beautiful. We loved swimming and looking over the olive groves and hills.

Lovely old mansion with good quality rooms in an old stable block

A bit of a trek to the swimming pool down some steps that could do with some renovation. Pool was ok but above ground and a little unloved but with superb views. The area outside the flats could do with pruning as it was a bit dank and attracted flies. However that all said it's a lovely place.

Villa histórica e deslumbrante!!!!!

Simplesmente sensacional!!!! Ser acolhida pela proprietária Sra. Clara, ter a oportunidade de nos hospedar num apartamento muito confortável, adaptado numa das inúmeras áreas nessa vila italiana com 300 anos de idade, e poder conhecer a baita história que ela tem para te contar é uma experiência única na vida! Uma propriedade cujos donos preservam uma biblioteca com mais de 12.000 volumes, entre os quais a maior biblioteca sobre o Caminho de Santiago de Compostela!!! Adoramos tudo. Fomos recebidos com uma mesa de biscoitos, torradas e azeite da propriedade. Conversamos com a Sra. Clara foi muito gentil ao nos explicar algumas das preciosidades que desfrutamos, como o arco de glicínias entrelaçadas, formando um "túnel" que tem 170 anos de idade e floresce a cada ano, o quadro com o desenho que concorreu para o término da fachada da Catedral de Santo Petrônio (Bolonha), as oliveiras da propriedade e outras. Percorremos a propriedade e presenciamos as ruínas do castelo de Perúgia, praticamente destruído ao final da Guerra do Sal. Andamos entre as oliveiras. Brinquei com um doguinho lindo da propriedade. Presenciamos a queda das folhas das árvores aguardando o inverno chegar no silêncio do entardecer que, sem nenhuma cerimônia, nos brindava todos os dias com um céu azul marcante emoldurando os contornos da propriedade. Realmente, uma experiência inesquecível. Recomendo a todos que desejam paz, história e acolhimento. Se eu puder, eu retornarei.

Não é uma queixa, e sim um relato: tive dificuldade em encontrar o local no GPS do nosso carro. Sempre que inseria o endereço da propriedade, ele direcionava para uma estrada diferente. Não sei se foi erro do meu GPS ou se foi referente ao endereço. Assim, sugiro pedir referência e ter contato com o(a) anfitrião(a) para sua chegada (nós tivemos e fomos muito bem recebidos).

een van de mooiste verblijven die we ooit hadden. zeer smaakvolle ruime appartementen, deel uitmakend van een mooie oude castello. het appartement gaf langs voor uit op een prachtige tuin en langs de achterzijde was een magnifiek zicht op de heuvels van Umbië, mooi en goed bed, goed uitgeruste keuken, kofiezet, waterkoker etc.., en een flesje olijfolie. we hadden zo erg naar onze zin dat we elke avond "thuis" hebben gegeten en nog twee dagen bijgeboekt hebben. prima uitvalsbasis ook voor bezoeken aan Perugia, Assizi, Gubbio, Lago Trasimeno.

we hadden niet altijd warm water voor de douche, maar dat stoorde ons eigenlijk niet. er waren te veel echte pluspunten om hier hier over te klagen. we gaan zeker nog eens terug .

Slēgta, droša teritorija. Var paši apsildīt telpas. Virtuvē viss nepieciešamais un vēl našķīšus atstājuši. Ļoti smaidīgi saimnieki, tikai nerunā angliski, bet piedāvā itāļu, spāņu, franču un vācu valodas 🙂

Bildēs redzama skaistā ēka, bet visticamāk, ka gulēsiet citviet. Tāpat skaisti, bet ekspektācijas jānolaiž. Jāsaka arī, ka visdārgākās naktsmājas no visām. Teiktu, ka varēja tomēr būt lētāk. Uzmanīgi jābrauc pa celiņu, tur bedrītes un akmeņi

Location da favola. Le stanze sono ben fornite di tutti i comfort, arredate perfettamente in linea con il contesto. La struttura si trova di fianco a una villa storica, con un bellissimo giardino intorno. Ci si sente isolati dalla frenesia della città pur essendo a pochi minuti di macchina da Perugia. Sarebbe stato molto bello conoscere qualcosa della dimora principale.
