4 audits and 1 child travelling in March. The bedrooms are convinently located on the ground floor so no need to lug the suitcases to the second floor. Such a brilliant idea.
One improvement would be installing blackout blinds in the bedroom in spring and summer, as sun fully rise by 5:30am and the master bedroom faces east so it’s very bright, making it hard to sleep past 6am.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Miru. Thank you.

Miru Niseko is located slightly out of the way. While the hotel provides shuttle services to key areas, it would be more suitable for travellers who have their own transport.
What truly made our stay memorable were the warm and helpful frontline staff. Their genuine care made us feel welcomed and appreciated. In particular, Bella and Irena deserve special mention. Irena consistently went the extra mile, especially in assisting us with last-minute transport arrangements. Miru is truly fortunate to have a staff member like her — she is a real gem and a strong asset to the hotel.
Unfortunately, our experience was not entirely consistent. There was one male staff member (wearing spectacles, with long back-combed hair, and without a name tag) who was notably unhelpful. His responses were standard and dismissive, with repeated “sorry, cannot” replies and no effort to explore alternatives. We also observed inconsistent service standards — he allowed one guest to register using an IC, yet insisted on a passport from another guest who had also presented an IC. This inconsistency left us feeling frustrated and disappointed.
This experience almost made us rule out Miru for future stays, and it was only due to Irena’s exceptional service that the situation was salvaged. I sincerely hope the hotel can work towards a more consistent service standard across all staff, reflecting the professionalism and empathy shown by team members like Irena.
