it was cosy and location was excellent. Beautiful walk close by and plenty of pubs and restaurants to chose from.

unfortunately the beds were not comfortable. My son slept in the single bed and felt like he was going to fall out and didn’t sleep very well. other that everything was okay.

Great accommodation a little way out of the city.

Really clean and heating system was really efficient so accommodation was at a comfortable temp quickly after arrival. Very clean and welcoming. Good walkable pub/restaurants if you didn’t want to cook.

Lightning needs upgrade. Bulbs were flickering upstairs especially in bathroom and main bedroom. Parking not ideal and very dark pathway down to property.

It hit all the right notes of a complete chilled time, in a cute cottage.

It was a lovely cosy cottage. In walking distance of newmiller dam, and great restaurants. A great place to relax.

It had lots of little extras in the kitchen showers etc. so I didn’t have any major things to dislike.

It was a great location with several pubs, restaurants and cafes nearby. Good size and convenient for our holiday

We stayed for several weeks and found the kitchen understocked...could have done with decent pots and pans and a larger fridge and freezer. Also the rollaway bed was not ideal for our children so wouldn't recommend for family of 4. The property needs attention the lights in bathroom and kitchen flicker. And could have done with a broom to sweep kitchen

an immaculate cottage in the most beautiful location

Charming little cottage with all you need for a stay including a table and chairs in the garden. The location is outstanding: quiet and peaceful but so close to the beautiful dam.

Our only suggestion would be a freezer compartment in the fridge

Great little hideaway

Very nice cottage in a lovely village spot. Perfect for a switch off after working locally. Great hosts, very welcoming and responsive. I will be back.

We had an excellent stay here & will definitely return as time allows.

The property had a lovely cottage feel, decorated & furnished to a high standard, a home from home setting which is what we were hoping for, we needed a base for a few days to help settle a elderly family member into her new accommodation & to celebrate her birthday, we had very little time to spend in the cottage except on late evening. but everything was there we could have asked for. We would hope to stay again as the future allows. Next time to make a point of sitting & enjoying the outside space.

Parking - you can feel the tension in the street & people are very quick to bounce out of their door to challenge you & why you are parking - we wrote a note & had it stuck to the car window stating the number we were staying at should there be a problem.

Perfect base for touring the area and lovely walks nearby

A welcoming fruit & breakfast basket waiting on arrival, along with water and milk in the fridge - greatly appreciated. Great location for touring around the area - very close to both the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and The Hepworth Gallery, Wakefield

the bed was a bit too soft for our taste - we both ended up with a bit of back ache (but we suffer anyway) Parking a bit restricted, but always managed to find a place
