Charming stay

The apartment itself is very cozy and the kitchen is well equipped appliances wise except for the lack of an oven. It’s in a very charming town. WiFi works well

The window on the ceiling does let a lot of light in the morning but it didn’t bother us too much. There was only one roll of toilet paper which was almost finished. Be weary of narrow streets around the apartment and if you’re lucky you’ll find a parking spot on the street otherwise there is a parking lot not too far away. Also I don’t know if this was a one off thing but at around 5 in the morning we heard what sounded like a glass container being emptied only it lasted for around 5 minutes? It was a very odd thing it seemed like 20 containers worth of glass.

Apartment for short stay

Great location, with everything you might need nearby. The hosts are friendly – we didn’t meet in person, but they responded politely to our messages. The price for the apartment is reasonable.

A few things that were unexpected: there are pots but no frying pans, no kitchen towel or paper towels, and the mattresses and pillows were yellow – which was unpleasant and definitely needs to be addressed. There was also no coffee or tea provided. You won’t find even basic items like sugar or salt, which are usually standard in most apartments. One of the steps is loose and should be fixed as soon as possible before an accident happens.

The setup itself is appropriate and clean.

According to guests, the air conditioning in the accommodation has not been working since July 2024, and it still isn’t functioning. Given that the bed is located under the roof, it is unbearable to sleep — the temperature at night reached 35°C. This is unacceptable. The accommodation is not suitable for hot summer days.

Book anything other than this apartment!!!

We were happy enough with the initial contact BUT.........then we entered the apartment and realised it was NOT prepared for us

We arrived at 1.15 and left at 1.20 and never went back. The owner agreed for us to go but will not refund the money even though we didn't stay and had good reasons not to stay. Our reasons are....... There was poo left in the toilet. The slept in beds hadn't been made. The rubbish was still in the bins. There was no key for the garage. We contacted the owner and they said the cleaner was running late. We had arranged with them to arrive between 12-1 pm....They should not make these arrangements if they cannot stick to them. Also, the apartment is impossible to find and you cannot use the garage to park in unless you have a tiny SMART car.

Although the place had a nice homely feel, it was a bit too cluttered with decoration which made it hard to find space to put anything down. I didn't get an invoice which my company requires for expense reimbursement :(

Nice appartment in a small town near Lago d'Orta and Lago Maggiore. Perfect for a stay when visiting the lakes or being busy all day. Very good bed and pillow. Went to eat in local Restaurant Barcaccia, typical Italian. Busy, but good food and drinks for reasonable price.

Kitchen is suitable to make a meal, but not very well equiped (no cutting knife/ other sharp knife). Difficult to approach by car, better park the car near the church (approx. 150 meters)

Potential to be great, if the bathroom smell was not a problem.

The style and the location was really nice. The comforts were all good and the accomodation was clean.

The bathroom! The showerscreen was broken, the toilet seat was loose and a little rotten. And the smell in the bathroom was terrible. Even with the open window or spraying deodorant, nothing removed the smell.

Beware, no hot water supply.

There is an air-con in the apartment.

during the entire stay, there is no supply of hot water in the bathroom/ kitchen. i have informed the host many times by booking.com chat, unfortunately, there is no reply at all. Its my first time i came across such disappointment. I thought i should share with others to prevent this to happen again and hope the host will pay attention to this hot water issue. Parking: its quite hard to find parking near the bar, however, if you wait long enough, you might be lucky. Its free parking from 8 pm to 8 am.... :) the pictures below show the truth of what i said above.

Great base location for visiting Lago Maggiore

Great accommodation to base yourself on Lago Maggiore if you wish to avoid the pricey areas but still be very close to everything you want to see. The apartment has everything you could need and is super comfy and nestled in a small cosy street. It wasn't at all difficult to find like the other reviews said. There is also a public parking available just 1 min on foot from the property. The check-in is really convenient so you can come and go as you wish.

I really loved the property but I have to mention these two things, unfortunately. The host mentions there is free parking provided by the property at no additional cost and no reservation needed. The host provided zero information about that and we didn't see any sort of parking except a closed garage so we had to find an alternative parking spot. The communication with the host was very disappointing. They didn't send any message about how the check-in works or the self check-in code until I sent a message to them on the same day as we arrived since I didn't receive any word from them and it was getting late. The host also replied to my English message in Italian, so make sure you have google translate on hand, otherwise this could get tricky.

Pessima esperienza e gestione totalmente assente nei minimi servizi

Mancava persino la carta igenica oltre le lenziole per il secondo letto anche se mi ero premurato di chiamare anticipatamente per specificare che eravamo in due e che avrebbero dormito in letti separati. Appartamento piccolo e sporco. Gestore totalmente assente che ha difficoltà a darti le minime informazioni del caso.

Una notte sola

La definizione "rustico" è adeguata alla location, perché si tratta di un ambiente con travi a vista d'epoca. L'appartamento è rifornito di pentolame e attrezzature da cucina. La biancheria da bagno essenziale ed assente quella da cucina.Fortunatamente è stato lasciato acceso il riscaldamento perché l'appartamento disposto su due livelli con soppalco disperde calore.

Pur avendo concordato l'orario di arrivo tre giorni prima , abbiamo trovato una situazione improponibile con il personale addetto alla pulizia in pieno disagio. Il caos era tale da non riuscire quasi ad entrare e non accorgersi nemmeno di come fosse la disposizione dell'appuntamento. Abbiamo quindi depositato solo la valigia e ci siamo allontanati rientrando in nottata. Al ritorno era tutto in ordine , sufficentemente pulito e riscaldato. L'accesso al soppalco con il letto matrimoniale è con una scala non comodissima ,mentre il bagno resta al piano sotto.Pur avendo attrezzature non era possibile fare nemmeno un te o caffè perché non era presente nulla.Il parcheggio non è così comodo e facile da trovare ( almeno di sabato sera).

Piccola sosta dell'ultimo momento

Appartamento "rustico" come il nome con una scalinata all ingresso che porta ad un soggiorno living con angolo cottura ...travi in legno a vista..ma la chicca è una scalinata in legno che va alla zona notte con letto su soppalco...una vera piacevole sorpresa, davvero grazioso e pulito. Comodo da raggiungere anche a piedi dalla stazione, una passeggiata di un quarto d ora. Zona molto tranquilla in quanto interna lontano dal passaggio di auto. Ci tornerò sicuramente se mi trovo nei paraggi!😊

Annonce mensongère

La déco mais c'est poussiéreux !

Nous avons choisi ce logement pour sa clim et une fois arrivés sur place nous découvrons que celle-ci ne fonctionne pas et en lisant les anciens avis cela fait déjà plus d'un an. Le propriétaire n'a bien évidement pas répondu à ma demande d'avoir au moins un ventilateur. Nous étouffions avec les 31 degrés dans l'appartement à tel point que nous sommes partis plus tôt. De plus c'était très mal équipé pas un couteau à pain, pas un bol, pas une poêle, pas de micro-onde...la marche dans les escaliers toujours cassée et pas de volet au velux donc 6h tout le monde debout ! De toutes façons les matelas étaient très inconfortables.

Nicht empfehlenswert

Lage ganz okay, aber mitten im Wohnviertel mit sehr gleich Gassen.

Wir sind um 19 Uhr nach langer Anreise gekommen und Wohnung war noch von den vorherigen Gästen total verschmutzt und wurde nicht gereinigt. Vermieter hat zwar für schnelle Abhilfe gesorgt, aber beim genauen hinsehen war es noch ziemlich dreckig, teilweise sogar eklig. Die Wohnung ist total unpraktisch modelliert und die Küche sehr schlecht ausgestattet (es fehlt:Messer, Brett, Schüsseln) so das wir nicht einmal gekocht haben. Kinder haben ihr Müsli aus kaffeebecher essen müssen. Die Ausziehecouch unten, total ausgeleiert. Wir hatte in der Wohnung keinen schönen Aufenthalt und würden die Wohnung keinem weiterempfehlen.

La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et ce d'après les avis précédents depuis l'année dernière, c'est inadmissible surtout lors de température de plus de 33 degres Il n'y a pas non plus de parking privé comme annoncé les rues sont très étroites impossible d'aller proche de l'appartement avec la voiture et celui ci est difficile à trouver Nous n'avons eu aucune explication concernant le SPA et le restaurant où étaient-ils?

Toda la descripción del alojamiento es mentira. Pone que hay aparcamiento gratuito en el alojamiento y se refiere al parking público que hay en una plaza del pueblo, que puede haber sitio o no, de hecho no tuvimos sitio y nos tuvimos que ir a aparcar lejos a donde pudimos. En realidad, ni siquiera se puede acceder al apartamento en coche, son calles cutres y estrechas. Siguiente mentira: pone que hay dos camas pero una es un sofá-cama incomodísimo. Booking te da la opción de decir si es cama o sofá-cama pero este señor prefiere mentir. Siguiente mentira: pone que son dos habitaciones más la cocina pero en realidad hay un solo espacio con cocina-comedor donde está el sofá-cama y arriba (sin puerta) está la cama. Y ya puestos a mentir también pone en la descripción que hay un “balcony” con vistas a la montaña cuando en realidad solo es un ventanuco en el techo, el cual no tiene cortina y a las 6 de la mañana ya entra toda la luz. Además, no tiene el detalle de mandarme el código de acceso antes de llegar, tuve que pedírselo yo cuando ya estaba en la puerta y esperar. El barrio es una cutrez, no hay farolas ni luz por la noche y para colmo las campanas de la iglesia suenan hasta las 23:00 y luego empiezan a las 7:00 de la mañana!! También tocan a las 7:30 y a las 7:45 de la mañana!!! Y durante 2 minutos cada vez! Inhumano porque dentro del apartamento se oyen un montón. Y ya para rematar, el dispensador de jabón del baño no funcionaba, la puerta del baño solo se abría desde fuera, había telarañas por la casa y no hay microondas. Jamás había puesto una reseña tan mala.

Molto carino

L'appartamento è molto carino, con soppalco e ben arredato, cucina attrezzata. Abbiamo fatto un po' di fatica a trovare l'ingresso ma abbiamo chiesto indicazioni a dei vicini molto gentili. Il check viene fatto in autonomia.

La prenotazione era per tre persone ma purtroppo abbiamo trovato asciugamani e cuscino solo per due persone. Abbiamo avuto anche qualche problema con l'acqua calda che è bastata solo per lavare i piatti, vista l'ora tarda abbiamo preferito non disturbare l'host che magari avrebbe potuto risolvere la cosa.

Il faut garer sa voiture sur le parking du restaurant proche et on accède à pieds (2-3 minutes) à l'appartement dans les petites ruelles étroites.
