The Appartment is situarted in a calm neighborhood but very close to the busy historic centers. Bars, Shops, Cafés and Restaurants are all within walking distance. Busstops with frequent bus service are very close. The oak tree Apartment has a well equiped kitchen (good coffee machine!), two double beds, a cofortable couch and direct access to the wunderful courtyard.
All upcoming questions and requests where immediately answered by the very friendly host.
The kitchen equipment could be enhanced, for the delight of people who like cooking, as I do ;)

The owner was excellent. Well maintained, great location, cozy, well equipped, and secure. The owner helped us out when our ferry was canceled. He was gracious enough to keep an eye on our luggage while we rebooked our ferry and accommodation.
Parking is hard to find. We learned quickly that heraklion is more of a walking/commuting City rather than a driving one. We returned our car early as we didn't need it. Everything is walking distance.

- Typical street parking challenges but managed to park every time just around the corner
