Lovely stay with super friendly and welcoming hosts

The hosts were super friendly, very welcoming and extremely helpful. Despite our woeful French but their reasonable English, we managed to communicate successfully with each other most of the time. They recommended a restaurant for dinner which was superb. The room is upstairs in their home. It was a spacious room with an extra single bed. There were shared tea and coffee making facilities and a shared lounge area. We slept well. As other reviewers have said, breakfast here is fantastic. There was a huge choice of items for a lovely continental breakfast - all tasty and really enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place and owners

When we arrived at the accommodation, the reception was very friendly. The room was clean and fully met our needs. Breakfast very good and fresh rolls were warm. It was served on a covered terrace with beautiful views. If we come to the same area, we will come here again.

Very pleasant interlude on our journey.

Beautiful village location, our hosts were very friendly and helpful, even booked a restaurant for us. The room and bed were very comfortable and as it was a hot day we were provided with a fan. Breakfast had lots of choices of cheeses, meat, bread and pastries, jam and local honey. We made to feel very welcome and would book again any time.

Accueil par un couple sympathique, chambre douillette avec salle de bain privative. Petit-déjeuner complet et copieux. Le logement est à 5 min en voiture de Neufchâteau.

Mon mari et moi avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour au Chant du Merle. Le lieu est charmant et les hôtes étaient très accueillants et sympathiques, ils nous ont conseillés des visites et restaurants. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr!

Ideale accomodatie als Bed & Breakfast

Ontbijt: Geweldig Ontvangst: Zeer vriendelijk, alleen het is ongemakkelijk als je geen frans spreekt (we waren blij dat we nog enigzins kondern communiceren via de zoon, die op dat moment aanwezig was). Kamer: Gewoon netjes en schoon, met alles wat je kunt wensen Voorzieningen: badkamer schoon en prima in orde verder

Het zou ideaal zijn, als je met deze zeer vriendelijke mensen in een andere taal zou kunnen communiceren dan alleen frans. Engels was eigenlijk geen optie.
