It wasn't as clean as it should have been and prior to my stay I asked for vegan options and they said yes although that was not the case

Idyllic location, with amazing views over the Ionian sea and beautiful sunset views from our balcony. There is direct access to a nice beach with crystal clear waters. The room was big enough and comfortable. The complimentary water, beverages and snacks were a nice touch. The gardens and communal areas are nicely maintained.

The property is built on a slope which means there are a lot of steps to go to the beach or to the pool area and the restaurant. The issue is mitigated by the fact that the hotel provided a buggy car service on site. There a major housekeeping issue on one day, as when we returned from a day trip we found that the front door of our room was left wide open. Thankfully none of our belongings was missing however this felt a significant safety issue. Additionally, our body wash tubes were not renewed and we had to ask for new ones on most days. The hotel needs to invest more on their dining services, as breakfast and restaurant dishes were rather basic for a 5-star hotel.

The location and views are absolutely breathtaking and the biggest strength of the hotel. The beach and pool areas are fantastic, housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay, WiFi worked well, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The golf cart service around the hillside property was also a great touch and made getting around very easy.

The food quality was disappointing and well below what we expected. Breakfast was by far the weakest part of the stay. Orders were frequently forgotten, incorrect, or never arrived at all, and service was consistently slow. Even when we were among the first guests to arrive, we often had to leave before receiving everything we had ordered because we had plans for the day. The entire breakfast operation feels fundamentally broken and needs to be completely rethought. The gym is also very basic and underwhelming. Our final day was particularly disappointing when a large group of guests wearing Hells Angels jackets, vests, and club apparel arrived at the hotel. Their presence significantly changed the atmosphere of the resort, and several guests, including ourselves, felt uncomfortable and chose to spend the rest of the day in our rooms. Had we known about this gathering in advance, we would have chosen different dates or a different hotel.
