Was able to enjoy the lovely view and the beach walks: no noisy anti-social people. Lovely beach.

Self catering kitchen:excellent-well equipped-clean kitchen-with access to use washing machine as required. nice table for meals for families to sit together, singly; or with guest. Views at the rear of beach; slightly restricted .Washing line provided for the guests' use.Access to beach-path via a stile/steps for your use and convenience on the property at the rear. If you were looking for peaceful solitude; excellent .

The views are amazing, the accommodation comfortable

The view from the bedroom and kitchen windows was amazing. The apartment was comfortable and warm. The directions given were very clear as was communication. I was visiting relatives and used the apartment as a base. I was even able to cook my family a meal which was a real bonus :) I would certainly recommend this apartment for a short break.

Lovely place, lovely apartment, lovely host.

A real home from home. The village itself was quiet but had a good community vibe. The property was clean, well-equipped, with a garden and view across the firth, convenient for exploring the area. Lovely walks along the shore. The host met us and he was friendly and welcoming, helpful without being intrusive. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return.

Remote beaches at your doorstep

Nice cottage in very small village in rural area. You share the house with the owner but completely separated, so not a problem at all. We always used the side entrance. Big well equipped kitchen with kichentable. Snug. Bedroom with very comfortable separated beds. Bathroom is spacious. Big garden with beautiful views! We absolutely loved it. John is a great host , respects your privacy and is there when needed. Great surroundings to walk , remote beaches and meadows literally on your doorstep. You can t get wrong there!

Nice location, but dirty grubby place.

Location was lovely place.

That it was in the owners own house which wasn’t mention when booking. Wasn’t clean, out of date food & spices left in cupboards. Cobwebs in shower! Single bed in living room which didn’t leave much room to sit.

Peace and quiet in a perfect little setting.

I really loved staying in this accommodation. John is an excellent host and could not have been more helpful. The peace and quiet was incredible. I had eight hours continuous sleep for the first time in decades. I also made a new friend in Louie. I will definitely be back.

A great get away from it all break

Great host informative, available but not intrusive. Apartment perfect for our needs.A peaceful relaxing environment. A beautiful picturesque village surrounded by stunning beaches, and filled with friendly helpful people. If you're looking for a relaxing break then I would definitely recommend it..

We would have preferred a double bed but were aware it was 2 singles in the bedroom before booking, but thought there was a sofa bed. Not a complaint just a preference.

Ideal location for what we needed. Quiet location, near to beach which the kids loved!even though it was freezing! John was very helpful to us and at the same time left us to ourselves.

clean, cosy, comfortable house. ideal location with a short walk through the gate in back garden down to the bay. was a very relaxed stay. John our host was wonderful and shared local knowledge which helped with our decisions on where to go and what to do.

Lovely, clean, peaceful, well equipped apartment. Easy access to beach walk from back garden across a field. Excellent base to explore surrounding area which is just glorious. This visit we spent a great day in Dornock (sandcastles on beach and woodland walks, lovely Sunday roast at The Coach Inn). The host was great. He made us feel so welcome and sent very helpful directions beforehand. Had a selection of games to play and loads of books which was a nice touch. Would move permanently tomorrow if we could. Just loved it, kids did too. Thanks John!

Had a very rejuvenating stay! Perfect environment to recharge batteries.

Lovely place in ideal location - out of the way but close to everything. Host very accommodating and discreet. John had some home bake for us when we arrived, we definitely need the recipe. We mostly came to re-energise. Perfect place to do this. We visited Nigg bird hide which was brilliant for waders. We also spent time at Inver bay bird watching. Beds comfy. Meal at Inver Inn was one of the best we have had for a long time with exceptional service. We may stay again even though we don’t travel often and like to try a new place every time we do. We came for a winter break, I image Inver is a perfect get away spot in the summer too. Both my children need night care/ medications/ tests and treatment through the night. I didn’t feel worried we were waking John up as it feels like two separate buildings. Nice to be a clean and cosy environment while providing this care. Some places we have stayed didn’t feel like a sterile environment and haven’t been able to relax well.

Incredible relaxing, welcoming, breathtaking nature!

Just everything! Absolutely stunning place, awesome host and incredible nature. Dogs were welcome and the place super clean and nothing was missing. John has an exceptional personality which is not just welcoming but he has also absolutely awesome stories to tell as well as you can have a great laugh with him, while he respects your own privacy but is always available if you need something. I will come back again, hopefully in summer. Ps; The price is unbeatable for what you get and we stayed for some extra days as we didn't want to leave. John gave us an incredible price for the extra days which was nothing🥰🥰🥰 Never ever had such an relaxing holiday!!! Thanks soooo sooooo much!

Passable for the price but wouldn't stay again

The position of the property is good, only a short walk to the sea. Saving grace was the wonderful pub, Inver Inn, within the sweet little village.

Wasn't clear that it is a bungalow and you actually are in the same house as the owner. The accommodation is separated by a corridor door which seemed very odd, and we found it uncomfortable and didn't feel secure or private. Although clean it is very old fashioned needing decorating and updating so found it all a bit grim.

Peaceful holiday destination.

The accommodation and surrounding area is lovely for a peaceful holiday. John was very welcoming on arrival and explained all the necessary workings of the apartment which had everything we required. The dog had a great time in the garden and nearby area. There were many lovely locations to visit without driving too far, but the apartment is also easily accessible if needed to travel further afield.

There is nothing to dislike!! (But if I was to choose something to recommend, it would be to have a door mat on entering the back door to save making a mess on the flooring when coming in from the wet grass, especially with🐾...)

A great cosy chalet in a perfect place. We loved it!

The location is perfect for exploring the coast and the lovely town Tain. The chalet is great and has everything you need. The beds were comfy for the kids.

The sofa bed isn't very comfy but we didn't mind as we had such a lovely stay

Great location for walks, host was just lovely, and when walking around or driving through the village, people would always say hello. Best sleep for a long time... quiet and comfy pillows!!! My daughter loved watching the wild rabbits!
