Charming Roma

A great location for visiting Rome. Bars and restaurants around were numerous and good quality. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was plentiful. Lovely to go out onto the terrace to enjoy it some mornings. Lorenza was very helpful going over the city map with us to highlight the best spots to visit . A very walkable location, close to important sights. We did over 60km in 5 days!

It was all good, our kettle was faulty and after mentioning it to Lorenza it was changed.

We had a wonderful stay at Charming Roma. The room was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was excellent, especially after long warm days exploring Rome. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, and housekeeping kept the rooms and bathroom areas spotless every day. The location in Prati was fantastic — a lovely, family-friendly area with easy access to the Vatican and inexpensive Ubers into the centre of Rome. Overall, we were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay.

The only small issue we experienced was that the kettle was a little temperamental at times, but it wasn’t a major problem and didn’t affect our overall experience. It’s also worth noting that the property is not particularly wheelchair or baby buggy friendly due to the stairs (about six or seven in total), although we were still able to carry the buggy up once our child was out. Once we understood that, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Great host, very friendly, gave us lots of very useful information on arrival and made our stay very enjoyable! Great location and very easy to travel to the main sights. The information sheet in the room of recommended restaurants and supermarkets was very useful

Great location, just a few minutes’ walk from St. Peter’s Basilica. Ideal for exploring the city.

We stayed 3 nights in room no. 3, which is located right next to the main entrance, so it was very noisy – we could hear street noise as well as the opening and closing of the entrance gate, especially at night. The room door did not seal properly, letting in a significant amount of light from the corridor during the night. The cleanliness of the room was not at an acceptable level and the space did not feel well maintained. The blanket was clearly not washed for a long time and was heavily soiled. The bathroom was neglected, with visible dirt and even mold in the shower area and around the silicone seals.
