A comfortable and Convenient Keswick Getaway

A lovely, well-equipped cottage in a central location in Keswick. It was perfect as a base for hiking the fells. Everything we needed was provided, and being so close to local amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. We would happily stay here again.

Lovely cottage, great location, Keswick was stunning as always.

The location was super close to Keswick centre, but nice and quiet.

Check in at 5pm was too late and check out was too early, it put a dampener on the last day having to check out at 9am

Just needed the utensils in the brown pot updating, also someone hadn’t washed them properly. We fortunately eat out all the time.

Lovely to spend Christmas here. Close to all Keswick amenities. Ideal for 2 people or a couple.

Great location and ideal for a short stay. Loved that there was a Christmas tree waiting for us in the living room on arrival.

The little things count. I think providing a few tea and coffee sachets for each day would be a nice touch.

Exceptional

Perfect base for a family stay. Everything in the kitchen possible. Beds comfortable and lovely to have baths after scaling Scafell Pike. 2 minutes from town and no problem finding parking each night. Good WiFi . Remember the pin code from Booking.com is not the code for the lock box! That comes on email from Cumbrian cottages.com . Their local office is closed so don’t lock yourself out like we did 😫

Carpet tacks on stairs need a bash with hammer as one or two a bit pronounced.

Well located, cozy cottage

Location is brilliant, within easy walking of the town. The cottage is well equipped & cosy, even in the winter!!

The only thing we didn't like was the car parking, however, everyone else is in the same boat& strangely just get on with it.

Un bon logement au centre de Keswick. Une maison modeste mais pas sans charme, sur trois niveaux. Nous nous sommes garés facilement juste devant la maison. La cuisine est correctement équipée, on y trouve une documentation bien complète sur la région ainsi que quelques livres et CD pour y passer un bonne première soirée. A good place to stay in the center of Keswick. A modest but not unattractive house, spread over three levels. We easily parked right in front of the house. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there's extensive information on the area, as well as a few books and CDs to help you enjoy your first evening.

Il faut savoir que cette maison est sur trois niveau, donc inaccessible au PMR. Trop de portes cloisonnent un espace déjà assez petit, des crochets permettant l'ouverture entre les pièces seraient bienvenus. Il y a dans la cuisine des crochets noirs qui dépassent du plafond, l'effet est assez déplaisant. Le lit pour deux personnes est assez petit, 1m30 de large. You should know that this house is on three levels, therefore inaccessible to people with reduced mobility. Too many doors partition an already quite small space; hooks allowing access between rooms would be welcome. There are black hooks in the kitchen that protrude from the ceiling; the effect is quite unpleasant. The double bed is quite small, 1.30m wide.
