Superior H - AD Alberto Dorner

We stayed in 3 different properties during our holidays in the Canary Islands and we can easily say this was the best one! We absolutelly loved this villa, it is very lovely inside and outside. what we loved the most: - The environment. Even though you are closed to busy Icod and to the main road, the only thing you hear is birds and the nature. We loved sitting on the terrace. - The views. Cliffs and the sea in one side and El Teide in the other side, and you will actually be very closed to El Teide, by clear weather it is absolutelly stunning! - The bed was super confortable - Property is clean, nicelly decorated, well equipped and modern - lovelly touch at our arrival with some water and a fruit basket. - Swimming pool was heated to a lovely temperature. - Overall it was quiet and relaxing. This is what we were looking for. Its location is made for people who do not want to stay in busy and crowdy holiday resorts (such as Los cristianos or the more near by Puerto de la Cruz). We will certainly recommend the place and even come back!

- Even though we could see a big effort was made to minimize the proximity of the neighbours with wood frames (and it is nicelly made) etc... they are living very closed! During our stay almost all appartment were rented. To go to the private swimming pool (I saw another review here which said the swimming pool is shared, that is not the case, for appartment H, it is your own private pool!), you have to pass 2 other appartments as it is located one the floor below. You do have privacy at the swimming pool however. We were lucky that all our neighbours were quiet but I can imagine that if you have bad luck and loud people next to you, this could become a problem. - Swimming pool is very small but having read the reviews before, we expected that. It is not a swimming pool to swim but more to relax after a long day visiting the Island. We also feel it needs some repainting, the dry paint was starting to crumble in the water. - on a very hot day, it was hard to get some shadow on the main big terrace. - Parking is very small, as almost every appartment was rented, it was hard some evening to manage to park, our rented car was too big to fit the little space, we had to leave the car outside one night... Which didnt seem to matter much because the gate was rarelly closed... That made us a bit nervous for the security but we had no issues.
