Apartment Theresa

We had a fantastic stay at Apartment Theresa. The terrace offers a breathtaking view of Lake Como, and it was the perfect place to relax in the evenings. The apartment is in a great location, with excellent restaurants and the ferry terminal within walking distance, making it very easy to explore the area without using the car. The private parking space in front of the house was a huge advantage, as we could safely park our rental car throughout our stay. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Irina was an outstanding host. Although we only communicated through messages, she always responded quickly and was very helpful whenever we had any questions.

The only small downside was the quality of the pillows, as they were very soft and didn’t provide much support. Other than that, everything was excellent.

The apartment is located just two hundred meters from the lake and its road. The view is amazing in every direction: to the left is a sea of green with birds chirping vividly at dawn, straight ahead is the lake, and to the right you can see the beautiful Pessina Tower. Very close to main attractions by car: Villa Carlotta and Villa Balbianello. The apartment is beautifully furnished and the kitchen is lovely, but we especially liked the bathrooms. Note: there is actually only one bathroom with a shower, located on the lower floor — this was misleading in the listing.

We didn’t like the pillows (lumpy, filling falling apart) and the towels (thin, worn out, not matching the apartment’s standard and price). The mattresses were good. We were specifically looking for an apartment with parking. The listing states it offers one free space, but it’s just an informal spot in front of the house if any are available — not a designated garage space. Once someone parked across two spots and we were left with nothing. We stayed over a long, Europe‑wide public holiday, you could've hung a "sold-out" sign on the lake, parking was impossible anywhere, not a single spot remaining and even ours was taken, so we could not even stay at home.
