The apartment is in an excellent location, very close to Dante metro station, and easy walking distance to so many places. There was a lot of space for my whole family, with cafés, restaurants and a supermarket all very close by. Our host was very attentive and helpful to us, she really went above and beyond. I will happily recommend this property. Many reviews mention the apartment is very dark, which is true - however for the same reason you are protected from the heat and noise outside. It was 30 degrees outside and we never turned on the ac.

It was very quiet at night, although the unit, part of a courtyard complex, fronted the very busy Via Toleda. The hostess was there and very helpful. The unit is unusually spacious for major Euro cities and superbly equipped, even with coffee, tea, juice and milk boxes, cereal as well as the salt-pepper condiments supplied. Four burners plus 2 small fridges were very much appreciated for making our own meals. Its location on Via Toleda puts one in the heart of the city, close to major attractions.

There were 20+ steps to the unit, and that was not mentioned in the prospectus. It can be a problem for us oldies with creaky knees. We detected a very faint leak of either gas or perhaps propane coming from the back of the largest bedroom. That should be investigated. The large gates at the courtyard entry were supposed to remain open until 8 at least but were usually closed before that. The inset gate is a tad small.
