Due to our flight being delayed and no taxis at the airport the host picked us up and took us to the apartment! Apartment had everything we needed and in a great location! Great contact with the host before and during the stay also.
Nothing everything was great

We stayed for 4 nights and again for 3 nights during the month of October 2025. We enjoyed the apartment on our 3 night stay because of its location which was much more quiet than the apartment on our 4 night stay
Neither apartment was very well equipped for cooking. The apartment we had for 4 nights was noisy

This apartment is one bedroom with a living room and kitchen area and has air conditioning in both the bedroom and living room. The bathroom includes soap and shower gel, but no other toiletries. The location is across the street from the archaeological museum. The windows are soundproof, but even with the provided earplugs, it was no match for the extreme noise from the streets and the sirens. It was very clean and free streaming quality Wi-Fi. The bedroom has two spacious closets and blackout curtains. The kitchen has two bottles of water in the fridge as well as coffee and sugar.
The balconies are enclosed with a chair and openable windows. A nice cozy spot to read a book. You really wouldn't want to open the windows, anyway, because of the street noise and pollution and car exhaust fumes.
The Wi-Fi does not work outside of the apartment, not even in the lobby and my cell service didn't work in the building since it's made of concrete. The elevator is ultra tiny and only fits one person and one piece of luggage. There was occasional and long-lasting drilling sounds coming from somewhere in the building and reverberated through the room. There are no screens on the windows to protect from mosquitoes getting in.
The first two days of my stay the elevator was free, but the last 2 days the coin operated box was activated and you had to pay $0.10 to use the elevator. What!? That's ridiculous! I've never had to pay for an elevator, ever. Will they charge for use of the doorknobs next?
This location must be on a route for the ambulances to go to a local hospital because there was constantly ambulances going by with sirens blaring, along with a lot of traffic noise and constant horn honking.

The flat is located just outside the narrow streets of Napoli, yet still very close to the center. In fact, it feels preferable to stay there instead of the the older part of the city. The view towards the Archaeological Museum is very pleasant, though somewhat spoiled by the installed A/C unit and the constant noise from the street below. However, Napoli is supposed to be noisy and the room was relatively quiet.
Upon arrival on Friday night, no one was there to hand us the keys, and we had to wait more than half an hour for two young women to arrive—neither of whom spoke basic English, which made communication very difficult. The elevator is very old and too small to fit a large suitcase or stroller, so we had to use the stairs most of the time.
The flats are situated on the first floor, down two large corridors with eccentric decoration but little fresh air. Lights turn off within a few seconds. While the apartment has been renovated, it is not very child-friendly, as there are two lower-level drops within the unit and big objects. The decoration of the appartment is random.
