Villa Jimena

We were a group of 8 men on our annual golf trip to the Costa Del Sol. All agreed it was the best accommodation we have stayed in. Excellent facilities, great location and all communication with Alistair was timely and helpful.

Excellent property for a larger group. Excellent location.

Property is in a great location, within short walking distance to bars, restaurants, supermarket and beach. Was clean, comfortable, quiet, well equipped, fantastic pool and air conditioning. The air con was almost silent so good when switched on during the night. Villa is close to local bus stops which we used to travel by bus to Fuengirola then onwards to Mijas Pueblo and also onwards by train to Málaga. The showers were absolutely amazing with multi direction jets and a nice supply of big, fresh smelling towels. The owners were very helpful and answered queries promptly and were very helpful and willing to answer any queries about the house and the surrounding area. The villa had everything we needed for our party of nine.

There was a problem with tiny ants which were present in every room. We managed to control this to some extent with ant traps and ant powder and by keeping rooms as clear of food debris as possible. It was impossible to eliminate them entirely though. In one of the rooms on the top floor the ceiling fan did not work and the shower door leaked. In the bottom floor bedroom the ceiling fan string was broken, making it difficult to reach. The guests in the middle floor bedroom found the shower cubicle to be small and difficult to manoeuvre in. Some of the cushions in the garden were grubby and ripped and need replacing. Some guests would have liked more pillows. Whilst not an issue for our group the house is built on a hill and is multi-leveled with stairs between each floor so would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Perfect villa and location for a large family

We were a large party of adults and children and the villa was perfect for all our needs. The information booklet was great full of useful local places to eat and visit. We were perfectly situated to go to the beach and for restaurants and bars all within walking distance and no need for a car.

Great villa but could have been more comfortable

The location and the size for a group like ours was very good. The heated pool was heated and well maintained. Lot of cutlery and crockery for home cooked meals, Large fridge and a large kitchen. Many family areas for entertaining. Alistair the host met us and took us around the villa explaining in detail the facilities.

The sofas not comfortable quite worn down needs stuffing. Not enough towels in bathrooms no bath mats. A dryer would have helped as with the rain our clothes remained wet. No vaccum clearner and mop would have also helped clean up better. Also should have kept washing detergent for the washer. Garbage bins in bathrooms and bedrooms needed.

One of the greatest places I have ever been to

Beautiful sea view, great location and everything what might be needed for guests was there. Villa is spacious and will be suitable for bigger groups ( there were 8 of us). Host is super friendly and helpful. With friends we all agreed that it was one of the greatest places we have ever been to.
