B&B Forest Hill Khao Yai

Il bungalow era molto bello, a colazione era strepitosa, la signora che ci ha accolto gentilissima

Abbiamo avuto seri problemi con la parte amministrativa o direttamente la proprietaria che, da lontano, gestiscono la struttura. Ho chiesto di prenotare una notte aggiuntiva, non più disponibile su Booking. E’ stato possibile e l’arrivo è stato perfetto. Ci hanno aspettato anche dopo l’orario normale di check-in. La seconda notte, quella prenotata su Booking, abbiamo deciso di rimanere nel parco di Khao Yai, ovviamente avvisando la struttura e dicendo che saremmo arrivati entro le 12:00 del giorno dopo, in tempo per il check-out. E chiarendo che avevamo intenzione di pagare tutto il dovuto Mi è stato detto che alle 11:00 avrebbero buttato tutta la nostra roba in giardino, quando sulla prenotazione il tempo del check-out era indicato essere fra le 11:30 e le 12:00. Il tutto è stato risolto grazie alla gentilezza del personale sul posto. Al momento di uscire, restava da pagare la prima notte, quella prenotata extra-Booking. Nella mail scambiata per la prenotazione mi era stat chiesto 2200 THB + 250x2 (colazioni). Al momento di uscire i 2200 erano diventati 3150. La differenza in € è poca, per carità, ma è il principio e il modo che mi ha disturbato. Mi è stato detto che si, l’errore era loro ma i 2200THB erano un’offerta di Booking. Mi sono rifiutata di pagare il prezzo maggiorato e tutto è, in verità, rientrato.

Fantastic location near to the park. The garden is a little paradise and we got the best breakfast ever.

The B&B is one of the only places situated near the entrance of the National Park, so perfect if you would like to visit it. There is no public transport there, so you need to arrange a transport with the B&B. We also could rent the car to go to the national park, which was great. Rooms are spacious and are perfectly fine.

Even though the staff is very friendly and the park was amazing, we did not have the best time, since the owner was just rude to our face a couple of times. He was Belgian just like us, so maybe he did not feel any boundaries. At the end of our stay, he just called us stupid people. We were travelling through, so possibly he was mad that we did not stay any longer at his place. Anyhow, the whole situation made us feel very uncomfortable and we were happy to leave the place. You travel all this way and the worst experience during our two-week trip was at this place with a Belgian man.
