- excellent value for money - great location: center of Bovec near bar, bakery, restaurant, market, etc - comfortable bed with clean sheets - clean, spacious room with lots of available space for bags - good ventilation from the bedroom window - clean shared bathroom with 2 available showers - spacious and clean shared kitchen and dining room - easy self-checkout in the morning - friendly and helpful staff

- sound isolation from the bar downstairs wasn't great, couldn't really get to sleep until the bar crowd quieted down - check-in was difficult due to the bar being so crowded (bar staff also handled check-in for rooms) - no elevator, only stairs; bedrooms are at top level of building

Location is really good, right in the heart of the city. Common room was nice and shared kitchen was also nice. Good that there is a toilet in the room but also in the lobby.

I am hiking the Alpe Adria Trail, and because it is super hot, I have to leave early. There is sometimes no place to have food during the hike, and if there is, not that early. So i bought breakfast and snack from the city bakery. I left at 04:30 and some idiot has eaten my food, that was packed and placed in the fridge. This is not the hostels fault, that people are idiots. But other places I have been, there is usually some small box where you can write your name on, and then place it in the fridge. Maybe this would help even a bit. Also, because it was super hot (really hard to get any sleep) even at the hostel, we had to open every door and window. People were also sleeping in the common rooms sofa, so I could not make even coffee, since I would have woken everyone. Last thing. There was a window in the shower that was facing the terrace where people where eating and drinking. Only the lower part of the window was blurred, but they can see you naked if you are not really careful, also everyone living in the opposite building has a good view. There should be curtains at the window.

Location and ambiance

Great location and price for the area. Fan provided.

We were in a room with a skylight window only, due to the thunderstorms overnight we were unable to open the window. Therefore the room was extremely hot, fans were provided. We also had cold showers on returning from our hike around 5pm.
