Good for a 1-2 nights stay

Clean rooms, basic and old but still... It's a hostel. Shared bathroom was ok but some people really took their time, so maybe it's not enough facilities for the guest capacity (1 bathroom with toilet and 2 showers, but all in the same room, so once you lock yourself in, nobody can use any of it - therefore 2 showers make no sense if they are in the same room. This is for 8 guests upstairs). The common space has a small kitchen and living room with a big dining table. The kitchen is well equipped and there were some leftover foods you could use (sugar, salt, other spices, tea, coffee, etc.). The kitchen could use a water kettle as it takes ages to boil water on the stove. The hostel is above a bar but it doesn't pose a problem. By 22-23h the bar is closed. Staff was friendly. Smash burgers were excellent. Beers were good (lager was my favourite). This is a great option for a 1-2 nights stay.

We saw one of the guests setting up a mattresses on the floor of the living room, meaning she slept there. That was strange cause this is the common space and we had a feeling we couldn't enter the living room and kitchen anymore. There is no parking available, but the town is small so there's a €5/24h public parking at the entrance of the city (roundabout towards the sky diving area), or even for free if the skydiving airport is not packed (they also have their own parking). The kitchen could use a water kettle.

Fantastic comfortable stay in a dreamy mountain town.

This is a fantastic location especially if like being right in the middle of the town. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The bathrooms were also clean. It felt like a very comfortable accommodation especially considering the price. Beer was also very good! 100% would stay again. Also, if you come with a car, park at the large dirt lot up the hill, not the central parking lot in town as it is €2 per hour cheaper.

They do have concerts several nights during the week and they last till about 11:00 (23:00) so sleeping will be a challenge on those nights.

Great value but they need to change the beds!

Friendly staff, clean ammenities and great value for money. As a bonus, we loved the fact that we got a little discount at the restaurant for the smash burgers.

I understand that the rooms are budget-friendly but the mattress in our room at least needs to be changed asap. Springs were jumping through the material. 10 for the price, staff and ammenities , 5 for the bed

Rooms were very noisy No quiet time hours stipulated Large group checked in at 10 pm and then all showered after midnight Which kept us awake . Can hear everything from your room in hall and other rooms

Nice, well equipped kitchen. Large Living and dining space. Bathrooms perfectly adequate. Location is super central and beer at the bar is tasty.

The room was very small and the ceiling was slanted, so there was not a lot of space to stand upright.

A perfect stay for a few days while doing activities in the Bovec area

Location was perfect, simple and clean had most necessary amenities.

Small things, some are natural, quickly get dirty in the bathroom with many people sharing just one bathroom. Rooms on top floor got hot after a warm day and no AC. New, bigger shower curtains would improve the bathroom

Right in the town center, bus station and supermarket is just 5 minutes walking distance. Soca River is about 2km (25mim) walk from the hostel.

Room is not soundproof, you can hear the people at the next room talking and you can also tell someone is having the shower in the shared bathroom

It is a very lovely place in the middle of the city. Very cosy, there's a balcony and common area. We got a private room and we liked it a lot (it was quite small though).

A great little hostel above a nice bar.

There was a nice communal balcony and large quiet dining area/lounge to relax in. The beds were comfy and clean, and the dorms small, so perfect for meeting other travellers.

The kitchen could have done with a few more cooking supplies and the oven didnt close properly. Otherwise everything was excellent!

one of the more affordable places in the city

just be aware that this is very much a hostel experience. we had a private room but it was tiny, no ventilation or aircon and extremely loud to the bar downstairs and the shared bathroom was a bit of a mess

Excellent location right in the heart of Bovec. Hostel facilities were excellent with good kitchen, sitting area and terrace. Bedroom and shared bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

Soundproofing could have been better as its above the bar and there are other bars/cafes nearby so we found it quite noisy at night.

Great stay with a brewery attached

The room was clean and basically a small apartment with the bedroom, kitchen and living room all separate. The staff were all friendly, especially the owner Anna who helped me with planning the next stage of my trip. It is a brewery too so lots of tasty beers to try.

Such a lovely spot to stay overnight with our kids. I do strongly recommand the price for quality.

Very nice clean place despite the shared bathrooms . Super gentle waitresses and lovely beers at the bar downstairs . Definitely OK for young travellers but also familles with children 5--15yo. I strongly do recommand this place.
