Perfect for what I wanted, I would definitely go back!

The staff were so so friendly, showing me around everywhere and welcoming me with postcards and a small snack, and they even kindly gave me a present for Miklavž! I would go back in a heartbeat because of their kindness. I really only slept there, but the bed was big and comfortable!

I can’t say- my room was exactly what I wanted! Maybe it was a little cold but the duvet was so warm that i wanted the room not to be hot.

Comfortable and warm stay!

Very clean, comfortable and complete house! We enjoyed our stay, it was warm and quiet. The owner even thoroughly showed us around the house, how to use the stove, tv etc. she was extremely attentive and friendly! Love the plump resident cat on the garden too

Great Stay in Bovec!

Sonya and Gregor were super nice and welcoming. The place was warm, cozy, and had everything we needed. The bed was amazing and the shower nice and hot — perfect after a day out exploring. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Okay room for 1 night in central location

Price is good for the Bovec location right in the Soca valley

This is the host’s family house, with some rooms rented out to guests. The place wasn’t super clean, towels smelled damp and bathroom had stains

Quiet flat with nice views. I would recommend investing in decent mattresses and a smart TV.

We were in a ground floor 2 bedroom flat with nice views to the mountains. The bedrooms were spacious, the mattresses were very soft hence I did not sleep well. Shower was very small and did not close fully but was otherwise enjoyable. Kitchen had a TV, but unfortunately this was not a smart TV, so there was no way to watch amazon or netflix. We were trying to find channels to watch, but most channels were in other languages. I somehow thought we had a living room, but the kitchen was the only place to hang out outside the bedroom. Host was really funny, even though she spoke broken German and no English, we still understood each other. Nice little touch was the welcome shot (schnapps).

The mattresses were too soft, it's not healthy for the back and made me wake up a lot. I took the cover mattress off, as the mattress underneath seems a bit firmer but all in all it did not help much. TV should have been a smart TV in my opinion, because most channels were in German, Slovenian or Italian. There was no living room and we were not told about a communal area of any sort.

Absolutely adorable granny welcomed us in and showed around. Excellent location by car and short walk to the centre. Everything functioned well. Nostalgic feeling and comfortable bed.

Very warm, nice and welcoming experience in Bovec.

This property had a very nice, big balcony, the room was nice and cozy and also had a TV. What i liked most was surprisingly the bathroom (at least in the floor we slept in)- It was big and had lots of showering supplies: conditioners, face washes and anything you might possibly need! It was a perfect one night stay, close to the center of Bovec. Also one of the most memorisable part was the receptionist- she was so sweet and welcoming! I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking forward for a nice holiday!

Dirty room, never got any refund

The room was super dirty, full of dog hair (I think) and big dust balls, the bedsheets full of breadcrumbs and also hair. Because of a language barrier it wasn‘t easy communicating with the woman living there but in the end I got new bedsheets to change it myself, the room was still dirty though. Since it was late I couldn‘t really find anything else so I just stayed and contacted booking as well as the apartment via booking messages the day after, but never got any replies or a refund. Cannot recommend.

Great value for the price.

The room was fine, the fridge was very small, but it was there, they offered a freezer which was great, and also some additional cups. Host were very kind and helpfull.

The sheets were kind of nylon, i recommend to the host to replace them with linen.

Great place, highly recommended!!!

We stayed in December and the apartment was so cosy and warm when we arrived which was very welcome! The owner is so friendly, like everyone mentioned in their reviews she's great. Even gave us a chocolate santa! The room was spacious and the kitchen was really well equipped. Very comfortable bed!

Charming house and host in a beautiful part of the world

Even if it rained for 4 of my days here in late October/early November, they were made warmer by the very kind hospitality of the host, who constantly had small treats and dishes prepared, and was very helpful and enthusiastic in describing places worth visiting for the sunny days. I'll definitely come back here again, as the location is very charming and I felt very much at home here. Her smiles and energy are infectious, so I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here.

Nothing against the host, who was not in control of the communication before arrival, but it would have been helpful to know that the WiFi didn't work in my section of the house. I asked twice in advance of arrival but got no answer. Fortunately I was prepared with mobile internetl (I teach and have up to 6 hours of video conferences per day, so bandwidth is rather important) and I can add that the mobile connection through A1 is excellent and very strong in this area. Also, the left side of the mattress is beginning to sink on the double bed, but the other side was perfect.

Did not meet our expectations: Unhygienic, no privacy and poor value for money.

Little positives about the appartment. Location is fine. We did enjoy activities in Bovec.

Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay at Bovec Holiday House. Although good intentions from the owner, we felt the apartment was below par on the following matters: - Hygiene. (Disguisting smell throughout our stay, humid appartment) - Ice cold water during showers - Unwantend interference from the owner on several occations. (The owner lives and utilises (parts of) the rented apartments)

Lovely family run hotel.

The owner is a sweet lady who made us feel very welcome and told us all about the local area and facilities (though she speaks v.little english). There was free parking, a short walk from the centre of the town, and it was easy to find. The shared bathroom was well equipped and spacious - although we did have a cold shower. The bedroom was very comfy and as advertised, it had a fridge, kettle, and she gave us some welcome schnapps. We had a great sleep and stay here.

Hot, felt rundown. Bedrooms are separated from living area/sleeper sofa by shared lobby and was not lockable. I didn’t want our daughter sleeping alone in the sofa so my husband ended up sleeping there.

A peaceful place in between mountains

We liked everything! The host Sonja was super friendly and sweet. On our arrival, she offered us some cookies and drinks with postcards about Slovenia. Her personality is so positive that it automatically made our day even better. The room we stayed, had a balcony with mountain view.

Walking distance to Bovec city centre. Very friendly and enthusiastic welcome by the owner; although she didn't speak english, she was understandable in German. Very pleasant balcony where we enjoyed the afternoon sun.

Feeling cozy in the middle of mountains.

The house lady was very welcoming. Our room was cozy, nice and clean. Very good location with beautiful mountains all around and supermarket (Spar) nearby.

Reeeeally soft bed so I couldn't sleep that well, but that's a personal preferrence, so nothing was really wrong :)
