Views amazing. Close to centre a good base for shopping and walking
The parking. We knew we had to park on the street but was difficult finding a space.

The house was comfortable and very warm. Spotlessly clean and well appointed. The view from the rear bedroom.and living room over the river and meadows was fabulous. Very convenient for the town. Useful to have the supermarket a couple of minutes away. Garden would be lovely to relax in on a summer's evening I'm sure.
The shower was the only disappointment. A weak flow and no heat one morning.

Lovely views, easy access to the town, well presented and cosy.
Already knew about lack of parking, but the main road was very busy and noisy. The water pressure in the shower was really low which made it difficult

Gorgeous views peaceful and location good, carpark just 5 minute walk
Shower needs a bit more pressure took longer than normal to wash hair.

The property was spotlessly clean and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere that truly felt like a home away from home — even while travelling for work. The entire experience was smooth and hassle-free, with an easy check-in and check-out process, thanks to the hosts’ clear and prompt communication. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it not just a place to stay, but a restful getaway after long workdays. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this property to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and a touch of home while on the road or a hassle free getaway

Unfortunately this property needs a deep deep clean it’s so dirty and worn if we had not been visiting family in wetherby we would not have stayed
The only positive is the beautiful view of the river
The property is dirty, grimy and in dire need of deep, deep cleaning
Hairs and dirt behind bins, the kitchen is grubby and the fridge was in a disgusting state and smell
I had to clean the fridge to even put milk in it, this isn’t just lived in built up smells and dirt throughout the property it is neglect of what could be a fantastic holiday stay
Outside area is also dirty, tired and in need of attention to not only clean it up but to make the area safer
Steps are wearing away, and the whole area is a complete shambles where an accident is waiting to happen, again could be beautiful but it’s just been left to go to ruin
Even cigarette butts left, these things could so easily be put right with some proper maintenance.

Everything about the cottage was amazing. It was clean, comfortable and very convenient for shops, pubs and restaurants. Parking was a bit of an issue but we knew that when we booked. Our hosts also gave us several options for parking which was very useful. Our only issue was with the shower which was very poor however, the view from the living room and bedroom was really amazing. We would loved to have taken it home with us. Thankyou for a lovely short break which we would love to repeat.

Location for Wetherby town, shops and walking. River views. Terrace. Welcome pack with all information. Well furnished kitchen.
Not a criticism but: 1. the beds were uncomfortable - could feel the springs of the mattress in both rooms. Could either do with thick mattress toppers or new mattresses. 2. The blind in the front bedroom did not cut out the light - maybe additional curtains bs or a roman blind over the top would help. 3. Road noise in front bedroom - we were aware of position on road & potential road noise but the Windows in the front of the property did not keep out the road noise sufficiently.

Damp on walls particularly bathroom.
Parking although stipulated prior it was an issue and if you moved
The property was basic but the river view was lovely
The road at the front is extremely busy and noisy

close to amenities and superb views from the back of the cottage
the road the property is on can be a bit noisy and windows at the front don’t provide much sound insulation. But not a big issue

Perfect location for exploring Wetherby. Great view, nice riverside walks from the doorstep. Busy road at the front but the main bedroom was quiet. Only a short walk to the excellent Mews pub.
Parking was tricky: we were only lucky once with the free spaces over the way, but in actual fact the big car park at the riverside is only a five minute walk away so that was no big deal once we had done the main unloading.

The cottage has an amazing view over the river from the lounge and the main bedroom.

The property is fitted with a door code which made key-less entry and exit really handy for us all.
The property is in a great location, just minutes from the town centre and the most amazing views from the back of the property - we had our dog with us and the walks (The Ings) again, just minutes away, were excellent - the hosts provided bowls for our pooch even though we didn't actually need them, this is a nice touch.
The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of crockery/cutlery and essential short stay supplies provided - even a Nespresso coffee machine with a few coffee pods!
The main bedroom was comfortable with good pillows and lovely crisp white bedding and bedspread - the main bedroom has plenty of wardrobe/free standing drawer space. The smaller bedroom was less comfy and perhaps more suited to younger children.
Our stay coincided with very cold weather snap but the property was cosy warm and has lovely gas fire for back up.
The parking is an issue but we received warning of this with lots of information on best places to park both free and chargeable and something you must expected in this small town at most times of the year - we always managed to find free car parking spaces just few minutes walk away.
I'm afraid we did experience some issues with cleanliness of the property, one which I raised immediately as I felt it was most unacceptable and received an apologetic message back very quickly. However, I do feel that the property needs some attention to bring it up to a better standard e.g. The curtains need some updating (not running on the curtain tracks well in either the living room or main bedroom), there are concerning black damp issues in the small bedroom towards the ceiling, the bathroom needs some attention to the bath panel and free standing accessories as showing signs of age. The kitchen cooker hood requires good clean and the garden would benefit from a thorough tidy up as the leaves that gathered on the terrace hid the evidence of previous dogs that had stayed - I always clean up after my dog but don't expect to clean up after others - I felt I had to in case someone thought it was my dog!

the view!!!!!
there was one huge issue which unfortunately made our stay uncomfortable, this wasn’t rectifiable however we did receive a refund. I’m sure more *could* have been done to sort the issue but it was our wedding weekend, so we just left it as was- I would 100000% expect this will be sorted for the next guests.

Comfortable and in a location that is both convenient and highly picturesque.
Quite noisy Road early in the morning, but that’s not really the cottage’s fault!

It was a cottage not b&b.
The narrow pavement and constant traffic to the front but that was the kitchen. The back of the cottage with living area and main bedroom was quiet with stunning views. A welcome pack would have been nice. After 5hrs travelling we had to go out and find milk.

little noisy road traffic. but to be expected from a town centre location

Great location. Walking distance to the town centre and a variety of cafes, restaurants and bars. The cottage had a lovely garden right on the riverbank and a lovely view from the main bedroom. Well equipped kitchen with coffee machine and large fridge and freezer. The hosts were very amenable and quick to respond to messages.
The shower was not very powerful.

perfect location for our needs, attending my nephews wedding nearby and
lack of parking is not ideal, bit of a lottery finding street parking nearby, managed to find a space at 9pm on Friday, could have caused problems the next day if I’d been unsuccessful

Appreciated the extras you provided and welcome box. Really appreciated the personal message and wine.
Could do with a mat on bottom of the bath. A bit precarious when wet.
