Quinta Do Acipreste (Antiga Quinta Da Torre)

O espaço encontra-se muito bem localizado, tem uma vista muito bonita sobre vinhas e pomares e o ambiente à volta da quinta é bastante calmo, pelo que, para uns dias de descanso é um local muito bom. Passear pela quinta é muito agradável e a zona de piscina igualmente. Foi nos possível usufruir das frutas da quinta, como apanhar algumas cerejas e limões, ambos deliciosos.

O apartamento onde ficamos era pequenino, mesmo pequenino. Para passar duas noites é ok, mas para ficar mais que isso torna-se demasiado pequeno. A porta da entrada não trancava por dentro, pelo que tivemos que dormir com a porta destrancada (colocando o sofá em frente à porta, para garantir alguma sensação de segurança). Não resolveram o problema porque era fim de semana e encontrava-se tudo fechado. Em termos de comodidades a televisão também peça por tão pequenina que é.

Die Quinta liegt außerhalb von Lamego idyllisch in den Weinbergen. Die Lage mit dem Garten und dem Swimmingpool ist sehr schön. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hat Obst und Tomaten und Marmelade überreicht. Der Parkplatz ist innerhalb des Geländes.

The hosts were amazing! The facilities themselves were wonderful. Outstanding pool; lots of outdoor furniture; shaded private sitting areas; briquette type bbq available. Only two units on the property/situated back to back. Very clean, good appliances, well stocked smallish kitchen so able to make own meals; good bed linen, pool towels. Gated parking. Not right in main Douro Valley tourist area but it was easy to see within 1 hr drive. Host generously gave fresh fruit and vegetables from his own garden and vines to both sets of guests.

Only one thing - the bed pillows were enclosed in a plastic cover protector with a cotton pillowcase over top. Both of us found it annoying to sleep on them.
