Amazing place. I fell in love with the view of this spacious flat.

I loved everything about this place! It’s located in Dervio, a bit further north from the main tourist spots, which makes it more peaceful. The view is absolutely AMAZING! The spaciousness of the flat is something special and hard to find, especially for the price. Luciano and Nina, the hosts, were incredibly kind. They offered us a lift from the bus stop and even let us check in early. I would strongly recommend this place if you have the chance to visit Lake Como!

The beds were 2 single beds, bear in mind. And they were a bit soft to my liking.

Perfect stay on the side of lake como.

The property is beautiful, full of character nestled up on the hill side. Exceptional views of the lakes and mountains. Absolutely perfect The archway to the property is very narrow but you can park just on the other side of needed. Some food and drink is provided which was more than enough The hosts, Nina and Luciano are lovely people and couldn’t be more accommodating.

Adorable tenants and Special House

The tenants, Nina and Luciano, were absolute Angels that welcome us in a perfect way. The place is very special, in a super old house perfectly maintained. Very comfortable, you‘ll find everything that you Need and Even more, to feel home. Even the breakfast was simple but perfect. Thank you to them :) The cherry on the top being the view, breathtaking, on the lake and Mountains.

The entrance is impossible for cars except small ones, which was not an issue but he car had to stay along the road. The place being quite remote there is no Risk.

One of the best hotel/BB experiences ever. Far surpassed expectation. House is beautiful with spectacular views. Kitchen and bathroom is clean. Towels were washed and clean. N & L who own the property are the loveliest people. Most accommodation and gracious. Strongly recommend.

Amazing views in a village of locals

The property is very close to bus station, so dont worry too much about walking up the hill with your luggage. The hosts were very welcoming, the place itself is just amazing and has everything you might need :) And the biggest bonus was the view ofcourse! We felt very sad about leaving. The village itself is small but very cute, we felt so welcome by all the locals and had an amazing time strolling around the streets. It is a great place if you want to be a bit away from touristy places and big crowds.

Aborted stay - too many issues

- Impressive panoramic view of the Lago (never seen anything quite like it) - Room looked as shown on the pictures - Cozy atmosphere (until the arrival of the mosquitoes) - Owners tried their best to be nice - WiFi good and easy to access

- Situated in a hilly 11th century part of the village: no driving access by GPS (Garmin, Google Maps …) - You need the owners to guide you to the place - No private parking (you park on a path, see pictures) - Prepare to carry your luggage a steep 100 meters uphill (owners will help) - No breakfast buffet as indicated in the description! - Italian breakfast = the owners will "graciously buy" (sic!) you some eggs, yogurt, fruit, some bread and onions - Trip to closest lake shores (north & south) 20-25 minutes (not 12 minutes as indicated) - Way to the lake passes by a very steep 800m stone & grass ‘stair’: tough when wet, slippery and dangerous when wet (trail running experience welcome) - “Bedroom” is not a room but a mezzanine - Bugs and mosquitoes are vicious: prepare to wake up covered with multiple painful red patches (cortisone cream a must!) - Room under the roof either too hot with windows closed or too crowded with insects when windows are left open - Beds too short (if you’re 184 or more, better forget it and use the soft couch) - Room cleanliness: floor covered with dead bugs and mosquitoes - Shower cleanliness : sink filled with bushes of hair - Aborted stay because of the sheer amount of issues with the apartment - Full price cashed-in despite promise of a goodwill commercial gesture by the owners

Interessante, ungewöhnliche Unterkunft

Die Wohnung ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Die Lage ein Taum, allerdings ist der Zugang über mehrere Treppen zwar interessant, aber alles andere als ganz einfach , geschweige denn behindertengerecht. Sehr nette Vermieter. Wohnung sehr ruhig. Die Zufahrt durch den linken Torbogen hab ich mehrfach geschafft. Mein Caddy hat keine Schramme abbekommen.

Bei Frühstück inclusive erwarte ich zumindest eine Kaffeemaschine und keinen Espressokocher. Wir mussten für den zweiten Tag viel zum Frühstück sebst besorgen. Für die Übergangszeit war der elektrische Heizkörper knapp bemessen. In der Nacht haben wir ihn abgeschaltet, weil er surrt.

Buen apartamento.

El recibimiento por parte los dueños. Las vistas del apartamento, Estaba todo muy limpio, cocina, baño. Un apartamento decorado con mucho gusto. Un sitio tranquilo, ruido, cero. Había sitio para aparcar. La zona es muy tranquila. Esta justo a los pies de la Torre Orezia. Si buscas relajarte, es un buen sitio.
