Apartments Historical Center

When you step into the building, you can really sense its historical vibe. Notice the elevator, the century-old wooden railing along the marble stairs. You feel the coolness of the interior during scorching summer days. Furthermore, you are greeted by a tiny corner coffee shop at the end of the entrance hall: your espresso is at your doorstep throughout the day! The building has a bag shop at entrance and a workshop at the 1st floor, which do not cause any distraction. The apartment strikes you by its cleanliness and airiness. The two rooms are facing the street through a common balcony, which is a must in Athens (you must have noticed that, too). Comfortable beds, big wardrobes, large bathroom. Functional spaces where you can put your own stuff. Dimitris, our landlord, is an amazing person. The moment you meet him, you will start smiling with confidence. He welcomes you in person to the apartment, not through digital keypads, locks (yes, they are convenient, but lacks the human touch, right?) When you find out that there is a box of freshly grounded coffee next to the coffee machine, you understand that he really cares about the comfort of his guests. We are truly impressed by his hospitality. The location is extremely convenient. There are coffee shops, restaurants in adjacent streets and the "Tales of Ales" which is a gem of Athens for craft-beer afficionados. We stayed both weekdays and weekend, and the place was quiet enough at night to have an uninterrupted sleep. Yet, you can also sit at the balcony at night, sipping your drink and listen to the cheering folk down the street at the bars/cafes. In conclusion, this is an excellent establishment for accomodation while experiencing Athens.

Nothing to dislike here, the place welcomes you all. Then again, the spectrum of expectations is too broad to be covered at a single place. Perhaps, those who prefer a "luxurious, fashioned" location may look elsewhere.

20 minutes walk will get you to any of the Athens sights you want to see. Lots of great eating options nearby. Solid windows really reduce street noise. Clean and has everything you need.

Excellent location and very clean nice property! Perfect size for a family of two adults and two kids.
