Home in Athens

Best place to stay in Athens, felt like home. Super clean and everything was in good condition. Just five minutes walking to the center, i was literally shocked how close this house to everywhere in the city. Super safe (3 lock points entering the flat), the guy who welcomed us was so nice and friendly. I really enjoyed my time here, if i visit Athens would definitely come back. Highly recommended, do not hesitate.

Didn’t like that had no balcony and the windows were facing wall from side building no sunlight nor view. Tap in bathroom was moving and in the shower was dark no spotlight only from the outside of the shower made it difficult to wash my baby

Great hospitality from the owner who was always available for every question. Location couldn’t be better. Even though it was in a very popular area, there was no noise you could listen inside the apartment. Very clean and fulfilled with every equipment.

Overall good

The flat’s location is amazing. 20 minutes to Kallimarmaro walking, 15 minutes to Acropolis walking , plus in the street there were many restaurants and cool places to hang. Our flat was on the third floor with noise cancelling windows. The property was quite clean and with lots of security.

There’s no reception and no option for self check in which was not clarified before booking. We took the London-Athens plane arriving 1am and was quite uncomfortable coordinating the key delivery. We told Vaios our flight number so he could track our arrival and even though the overall the communication was not bad, would much rather arrive smoothly with a self check in. The other hiccup was the shower hot water - you had to turn on the heater 30 minutes before taking a shower which is not ideal, plus the hot water ran out after 5 minutes - not exaggerating.

The host was super friendly and answered messages right away, which was perfect. Building is located PERFECTLY - in the center but it is not noisy street. There is a code on building door so it feels super safe. Apartment was comfortable for 2 people. There is iron, ironboard and hairdryer which is nice!

Nice place, Nice days

The flat is modern, minimalist and cleanly styled, spacious enough for 2 to be comfortable and with air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom. The bathroom is well built and the shower is comfortable and big, while the kitchen is spacious and functional. The price is honest, the staff is kind and helpful and access is quick and easy. The area is quiet and super central.

The table in the living room with obvious signs of wear and tear such as scratches or chipped parts was not nice to look at.

It was easy to collect the key. Someone was waiting for us. Quick tip for those who are just like me (arrived super late and didn't have any internet or calls), you can go to the bar across the street (named Noel), and use their Wifi. It's open.

Convenient and have all the things you need. Extra safe compared to other apartment units in the same building since they have an additional glass door with secured password lock In a good place for shopping and food in the city but peaceful at night for sleep. We stayed for 4 nights

Great spot to stay in Athens. With great help from the hosts

Everything was lovely with the apartment and off course Erini the host, was just the most amazing person in the world to deal with. She helped me with many things that went beyond her job description. She is amazing.

More soft lighting would be a bonus and a bedside lamps would be great. The bathroom could do with some attention, like the shower door that didn't seal properly. Everything else was just perfect.

Eirini was wonderful she was able to answers all my questions and organized a taxi driver for us from the airport to the apartment. It was a great location and walking distance to a lot of the iconic monuments of Athens. Thank you for such a great stay.

Cozy, conveniently located apartment in heart of Athens

Eirini was an excellent hostess. She responded to messages in a timely manner and provided helpful information before and throughout our stay. The apartment is well equipped with a full kitchen, dishes and cutlery, a washing machine, toiletries, Netflix, and anything else you might need. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning kept the apartment cool even on the hottest summer days. The location was great! We were within easy walking distance from the metro, many excellent restaurants, shopping, and the historic landmarks. We would absolutely stay again.

The apartment is perfectly placed for all attractions in the heart of athens.

We loved everything about the apartment. It was the perfect layout for our needs and all the equipment was there from cutlery to ironing board, the bathroom and shower were more than enough for a person with mobility issues. All in all this apartment is perfect for anyone with mobility issues. There is a small step up and down to access the apartment but a pair of mobile ramps available if needed, just ask for them on your arrival. Vaios and Eleni are the 2 very nice people who oversee the property popped in to check all was well several times throughout the week and if we needed any other help a whatsapp message to Eirini our original contact was quickly answered and sorted out, ( i.e airport transfers arranged ) Although I am not confined to a wheelchair I do have mobility problems so I hired a mobility scooter from U.K. based company www.mobilityequipmenthiredirect.com who arrange for a scooter to be delivered to the apartment, their service was also A1. This was our first visit to Athens ( or any european city ) and were not sure what to expect but it turned out to be a wonderful trip.

Exceptional

The location of the apartment is excellent! It's a walk distance to all the main places. Also everything in the apartment was clean and nice, we could feel like at home. We were very happy that the place felt secured. The door to the building has a code, also on the floor of the apartment there is also a door with a code, and of course you have a key to the apartment. The street also felt safe.

There is a washing machine that is also a dryer, but the dryer didn't work.

Modern, comfortable and big apartment in great location

The apartment is super comfortable with all you need, even for a long stay (washing machine and dryer, desk, full kitchen). I was in contact with Miss Eirini through whatsapp at all times (you can buy a Vodaphone mobile sim card on the street for 20€) to let her know when we are arriving, she sent me the subway schedule for the airport, etc. Enough toiletries were provided for our 4 night stay. The location, right at the end of the nighlife scene and close to the subway station (for the airport) was great. When you are this close to bars and restaurants you will obviously hear the music from the room. But it ended up being fine since the noise level would go down (and we stopped hearing it if the windows are closed) at about 11pm (we were coming back home around 10pm) and it is dumped greatly by very thick and hermetic windows. So it wasn’t a problem at all but just consider it if you have a baby with a light sleep.

Having to turn off the breaker for the hot water tank was not convenient. One day the power cut off right at breakfast when we were waiting for the water to heat up. Fortunately it lasted 15min. And the tank heats up fast (15min). Tip: let it heat up after the shower and then turn it off since the water will stay warm all day. It was an inconvenience but we recognize that Europe is going through an energy crisis so we try to help, also with the air conditioning.

Location was perfect, especially for those in Athens for the first time. Everything was in walking distance, including the Acropolis. Great value for money.

The bathroom was a little small, but honestly, this was minor in comparison to the benefits of location and size of the apartment.
