ATHENSIS Apartments in Central Athens

The location is great!!! So close to everything and felt very safe for a solo traveler. Good to have a place with kitchen and washing machine. Shower and toilet was small but okay for one person.

The apartment felt a little used, but that a minor issue.

Someone waits for you to give you the keys and the room is really clean, there’s no noise which is really good after a long day visiting Athens. The bed is really comfy, there’s AC works perfect and in the bathroom you have all you can need for a nice stay.

The flat’s location is amazing. 20 minutes to Kallimarmaro walking, 15 minutes to Acropolis walking , plus in the street there were many restaurants and cool places to hang. Our flat was on the third floor with noise cancelling windows. The property was quite clean and with lots of security.

There’s no reception and no option for self check in which was not clarified before booking. We took the London-Athens plane arriving 1am and was quite uncomfortable coordinating the key delivery. We told Vaios our flight number so he could track our arrival and even though the overall the communication was not bad, would much rather arrive smoothly with a self check in. The other hiccup was the shower hot water - you had to turn on the heater 30 minutes before taking a shower which is not ideal, plus the hot water ran out after 5 minutes - not exaggerating.
