This is an attractive looking self catering condo unit on 18th floor of the highly desirable View Talay 6 condo. At the unit's entrance is a kitchenette of sink, 2 ring hob, microwave, large fridge cupboards, work surface and breakfast bar with 2 stools plus small shower room with sink,toilet and washing machine. In the centre is sitting area with small sofa and coffee table opposite a range of floor to ceiling wardrobe and cupboards with security safe, then comes the large and comfortable bed, nice bed linens, opposite a workstation area with unnecessarily imho 2 office chairs plus 2 other chairs. Here there is a private internet router with good signal, wall mounted large flat screen TV, Samsung home cinema system with BT audio capability which I particularly liked for playing my music. There is a Netflix/ AmazonPrime handset but no idea how to get that to work ( which didn't matter for me). I didn't find any operating instructions for any these systems. V.quiet a/c and I really liked the overhead fan. The room comes with adjustable ceiling mounted mood lighting, west facing balcony with a decent sized round table and 4 chairs if needed. It does get hot here by midday in full sun plus the heat output from the a/c compressor. The photos are a true representation of the unit. I have stayed in the VT6 building previously and know it well. A superb beach front central location with large swimming pool. Plenty of onsite reasonably secure parking plus convenience shops, restaurants, laundry, massage and property agents on floor 3. 24 hour security guarded lobby and lifts. Right next to Central Festival Mall. I booked at short notice for a week which I think is the minimum stay. I dealt with the owner entirely by SMS and phone. Very responsive. I paid by bank transfer without issue. A Thai lady manager was there to meet and greet and she arrived again precisely at the 11am checkout time. Clean and tidy on arrival.

IMHO overpriced compared to similar in this condo building but I booked at short notice and found no other choice at that time for my dates for this building. Fair to say from personal experience also that each unit is uniquely and variably furnished and equipped to owner specification so direct comparison is difficult. Some maintenance work needed to shower head, shower leaks a little in to living area at floor level. Shower room tap is loose. Fixed furniture getting a little tired from use. The mood lighting didn't work too well and needs a checkup. Some hammering and drilling noise from work going on in another unit ( always a possibility in these condo buildings) but it wasn't too intrusive or long lasting.
