Muy sucio

La habitación olía muchísimo a humedad. El baño estaba súper sucio, había telarañas por todas las esquinas y del WC mejor ni hablar. La ducha estaba rota, el agua salía por todos lados. Nos tuvimos que cambiar de hostal porque era demasiada mugre. El Wi-Fi no funcionaba. No pudimos pagar con tarjeta.

My stay turned into a nightmare — belongings stolen, staff lied and blamed me, and instead of help I

✅ swimming pool ✅ Location is good, close to Canggu center. ✅ Common area is fine to meet other travelers.

I used to really like this hostel — I even left a 10/10 review in March 2025 after living here for 4 months. Back then, everything seemed fine. But during my last stays in July–August 2025, everything changed: 🧳 My belongings disappeared: – phone & power bank, – helmet, – clothes (some I later found thrown into the garbage), – finally my drone (DJI Mini 4). 📸 Manager asked me for proof — I sent photos of my things around the bed. Instead of helping, staff said I was “making it up” and “forgot them somewhere else.” 👮 When police arrived, staff denied I ever reported anything and told them in Indonesian that I was “forgetful.” 🔍 Staff kept saying “there are no missing items,” but I personally found some of my things: – hidden in the storage room, – on another bed, – and in the garbage. Not everything was recovered. 🚫 After that, staff blocked me on WhatsApp, and the owner banned me without ever speaking to me. ❌ No security. ❌ No honesty. ❌ No respect for guests. 👉 A place I once trusted turned into a nightmare.

if you wanna safe money it‘s a good opportunity to stay for a couple nights.

good location, nice shared area to socialise. The staff is really friendly and helpful. they have a tv and make also movie nights.

they have a problem with the water. Sometimes in the middle of the shower the water stops and take long until it comes back. They have curtains but only fot the bottom beds. The curtains at the top beds are wrong placed and doesn’t cover the bed. Electricity was also timewise a problem (ac on of, phone didn’t charged).

Never coming back here. The beds were never cleaned. When my dorm mate left after 2 week stay, his sheets were folded and left for the next guest to use. The beds had bugs and all kinds of insects. The washroom was the most disgusting. Mine had a used condom behind the sink. I don’t know if they ever clean these. I am never coming back here

There is zero cleanliness here, neither with the beds nor with the washrooms. There are shampoo bottles hoarded from ages in the washroom, and stench. Rashes from sleeping on the bed.

Not clean the staff is never at the reception, had to told many times to replace the water bottle, wait to see some one 15 min to check in, had to contact then on whats app, beds are not confortable, pool is big but no sunbed to sit. All the place is old and need refreshment, my shower was dirty and just a drop of water to shower.

This is for sure the best hostel I’ve ever been in Bali! The place is so nice, good structure, perfect to meet new people and the STAFF is so friendly, specially Ferdi and Yoga Pratama, really nice guys! The location of the hostel is also really good with a Mart almost in front and you can easy go walking to Old Man’s, Mexicola and SandBar if you want The hostel has locker on the room and hot water on the shower, this is the two most important things for me! The pool is also good and the guests normally stay around so is good to make new friend I stayed at Tropical for more than 2 weeks I think, I really recommend! Hope you all enjoy same as me!

The only bad thing is that at 11pm we can do noise or party anymore, but this moment is time to go to Finns or Old Man’s so is not a big problem haha but would be even more fun if we could make noise anytime, since we are in Canggu hahaha

Brut i incòmode—no hi tornaria

Molt ben ubicat, en una zona plena d'oferta de restaurants i de qualsevol servei necessari i prop de la platja. El preu és més que assequible, raó per la qual és una bona opció per viatgers de motxilla, persones amb un pressupost molt ajustat i gent que busqui una mica de gresca.

Les habitacions estan molt brutes, i en especial el lavabo, que no ha tingut una neteja profunda en anys. Compartir habitació és per persones mentalitzades. A la meva hi havia una noia constipada que vinga a sonar-se els mocs tota la nit. L'aire condicionat encès fa molt de soroll. En realitat, pels baixos preus que pots trobar a Bali per a una habitació individual, jo no recomanaria dormir a hostals. Vaig acabar llogant una altra habitació per poder descansar millor i no vaig acabar l'estada amb ells.

À première vue, l’hôtel est joli et la piscine est grande, mais elle manque d’entretien. Il y a des vêtements éparpillés un peu partout à l’extérieur, ce qui donne une impression de négligence. C’est dommage car l’endroit a du potentiel. L’établissement est vraiment sale, et les salles de bain ne sont pas mieux entretenues. C’est dommage, car l’endroit pourrait être agréable avec plus de soin et de propreté

Malheureusement, mon séjour a été gâché par une infestation de punaises de lit dans l’établissement. J’ai constaté de nombreuses piqûres je suis allergique donc au bout de une heures je ne peux pas rester dans un lit avec des punaise et il semble que la chambre était infestée. C’est extrêmement désagréable et j’ai dû quitter le lit pour éviter de nouvelles piqûres. La situation est inacceptable, surtout dans un endroit censé être propre et sûr. Je recommande vivement à l’hôtel de traiter ce problème pour éviter d’autres désagréments à leurs futurs clients ! Du coup j’ai pas dormi !

The hostel was close to the beach when many are far away but the kitchen was filthy so don't eat the

I surf so the location was great for me less than 2 kms to the beach. Many good restaurants were close by.

The kitchen was filthy with ketchup an mold on the walls. The floor by the water cooler was black. Nobody cleaned up for months or years. Disgusting. Noisy disrespectful people talking close to dorms at 04:00, unacceptable.

Checkade ut två dagar tidigare än tänkt

Läget och priset var bra men det var väl de enda. Dörren till rummet gick inte att stänga så den blåste upp varje gång det kom en vindpust. De hade ingen handtvål på toan och när man frågade om de sa dom bara att det var slut. Toaletten slutade funka mitt i natten så vi fick väcka en i personalen för att fixa den. Han kunde som tur var fixa den så blev inget långvarigt problem.

Me.gusto mucho la estructura estilo balines,todo en.madera,con balcon que se afacha a la piscina. Mas alla de las opiniones fui a verlo antes de contratarlo,y la verdad esta bien! No se que espera la gente por ese presio..estuve en una habitacion de 4 personas con baño adentro. El ambiente era relajado con puf al resedor de la piscina,en un calmejon,centrico pero aislado del trafico.

Es gab einige Restaurants in der Nähe (alle sehr teuer für Bali Verhältnisse) es gab außerdem einen Pool direkt vor dem Zimmer

Generell sieht es auf den Fotos besser aus als es ist, das Badezimmer war bisher das schlechteste was wir auf unserer Reise hatten. Die Lage ist in einer Gasse mit einer Firma und vielen Baustellen die bis spät abends arbeiten und dem entsprechend laut sind, nebenan werden außerdem jeden Abend laute Partys gefeiert. Die Preise für die Unterkunft waren wirklich unverschämt hoch für das was man geboten bekommen hat, können wir ganz klar nicht empfehlen

Dirty and overpriced

The room was spacious

- Dirty Bungalow - Dirty Moskito net - they wanted to clean after the first day of our stay. My partner was still in bed so he asked them to come back for cleaning a bit later. No one came back for a cleaning that day and also not the other days ( we stayed 3 nights) - privat bungalows where not in the hostel area - bed was noisy - too expensive for what you get - noisy due to the party hostel tipsy gipsy next door - pool at the official hostel area was a bit dirty

Pleasant

The bed was comfy, and the pool is great. Renting a scooter was super easy, they keep your passport for the duration. The owner directed me to another property he owns at the back which has better wifi and a better spot for working which was nice.

The bathroom was gross...the shower drain was blocked, but just with hair on the top layer - it only started draining when I cleaned it myself. The bathroom walls were full of dirt, the ceiling falling in, dirt on the floor every day, seemingly the same dirt from day to day? The wifi doesn't work in the rooms and there's no cell signal either. The aircon was first set too cold, then it got stuck on 25°. Construction work starting at 8am even on the weekends.
