Catania Charming House

Big apartment. We had five people and it was plenty of space. Awesome kitchen. Good A/C and Wifi. Great to have a lift because it's on the fourth floor and my elderly mother was staying with us. Also nice to have two bathrooms. Decent parking garage right around the corner.

We felt like the floors hadn't been cleaned very well, our feet got quite dirty walking around the apartment. Also, a bit of a walk to the touristy areas, but it's also nice to be in a quiet residential neighborhood.

Incredibly spacious apartment with comfortable beds and close to the city centre. We were here as a family of 5 but it can easily accommodate 6-8 people. The lift was a nice surprise. Host was very responsive.

Eine modern renovierte und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit ganz viel Platz. In der Wohnung sind: drei Schlafzimmer (ein Einzel- zwei Doppelzimmer), Küche und Esstisch in einem Raum mit dem großen Wohnzimmer, Badezimmer komplett, zusätzlich eine separate Toilette, großer Balkon an der Straße, ein weiterer zum Innenhof. Die Gastgeber sind sympathisch, unkompliziert und stets erreichbar (oder sie haben zeitnah reagiert). Die Lage in Catania ist zentrumsnah, so dass man zu Fuß in die Altstadt kommt. Ein Supermarkt und mehrere Bäcker sind ganz in der Nähe, Restaurants und Cafes auch. Ein Parkhaus um die Ecke hat einen Sondertarif (so habe ich es verstanden), so dass der eigene Wagen gut untergebracht ist. Danke, jederzeit wieder!

The apartment was in a great location, very convenient and centrally located. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The apartment is very spacious. Having a balcony is a nice addition too. There is a full kitchen with stove, oven, washing machine, dishwasher etc. there is an iron provided but no ironing board. The rooms were very spacious with aircon in each room.

The apartment was not very clean when we arrived. Our feet were dirty after walking around the apartment for a little while and the floor felt slippery. The shower was not the cleanest either, as there was grime present. The couch has definitely seen better days and is not clean, many stains visible and we did not feel comfortable sitting on it. There was no ironing board for our clothes.while were there, the power tripped when we had multiple aircon units going, but the owners were very responsive to this and the issue was sorted within 10 minutes.
