Very good location for tourist spots, close proximity to bus stops made travel to railway station easy. Washing machine electric kettle and microwave were excellent.
The most negative aspect was sleeping on futons but we were aware of this when we booked

Very nice and quiet location. Very clean. Loved the laminated maps of Kanazawa.
No elevator so had to drag luggage upstairs.

This is a very small space, particularly the shower room so you have to be organised. Chilly in the spring until the heater is on.

Well-connected to city bus lines and bike-sharing stations, very close to Kenrokuen and with all day-to-day necessities in walking distance. Really quiet neighborhood as well, and competitively priced.
Sadly, our room had a really funky smell to it, probably from the drain in either the bathroom or the kitchen. The bathroom in particular had seen better days, with the shower curtain showing signs of mold. Our host was also pretty curt when contacted via mail apart from the initial pre-written messages. Maybe this can be chalked up to the language barrier, but us writing lengthy messages was often met with a one-sentence reply and the bare minimum of courtesy.
