A real gem on the Mosel river, we will be returning

The apartment was huge with a lovely lounge and a private balcony overlooking the Mosel. The restaurant downstairs was excellent and we ate there every night. Breakfast brought up to our room was a real luxury Staff were cheerful and very helpful

Nice quiet no crowds

Location was excellent. Restaurant had a delicious menu and it has a bar for a drink if you wanted one. Cold beer on tap! The staff were incredibly friendly. Nice folks.

The bed was ok, but we did find the pillows to be too soft and fluffy to sleep on. I also asked for a room closer to the ground floor to make it a little easier when taking our little French bulldog outside for walks, but we were placed on the top floor. We still managed, but that many stairs were a little rough for him to climb and it was hot outside a couple of the days of our stay. The Castle was also closed.

Amazing! The best place we stayed during our entire trip to Germany! We will DEFINITELY come back!

We absolutely loved everything about this location! We wish we could have stayed here for even longer! Check in was so easy, we were greeted by the owner which made us feel like family right away! He made us feel so welcome! We stayed in Apartment 3, the room was super cozy and very spacious. The owner offered to make us a dinner reservation and we gladly accepted. When we got to the restaurant, there was a beautiful table set up with our last name written on a slate heart to reserve our table and we were given two welcome glasses of Champagne. The food was FANTASTIC! One of the TOP meals we had while we were in Germany! Breakfast the next morning was delivered to our room and the food and coffee was perfect! When we checked out, we were packing our vehicle and left the key in the key drop box as we had to get to our next destination. The owner, once again, met us in the parking lot and made sure that we were comfortable through our entire stay and thanked us for picking his location. This was honestly our most FAVORITE place we stayed during our whole trip! We will definitely be back!

A wonderful stay next to the River Moselle.

Absolutely everything. The location next to the River Mosel was excellent with car parking available next to the hotel. The apartment was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delivered to the apartment each morning. The owners Philip and Corina were extremely friendly as were their staff. Boat trips to Cochem and Koblenz etc. were available from nearby. There was also a good bus service with a bus stop very close to the hotel.

Great small hotel on river.

Stayed there before. Staff / owners excellent. Location is superb under a castle, on the river. Restaurant has excellent options and priced ok. Large rooms with sofa and chairs, and a balcony.

Car park adjacent get used by tour busses parking up, and can be noisy during day.

Riverside location in small town with many cafes and bars. Good size room with balcony and fridge stocked with (for sale) beers and wine. On site restaurant excellent choice local food.

I would highly recommend Landhaus Zimmerman for your stay - one of the best experiences we have had.

The staff there are wonderful! Very kind and gracious and helpful. I speak a little German, but slow and tedious and they were all very patient and helpful. They do have one English speaker on staff in the restaurant. The room is very comfortable and quiet. Wonderful location at the north end of town with an unobstructed view on the River and hills on the other side. You are short walk from everything. The restaurant is excellent. Great traditional German cuisine. Landhaus Zimmerman is a great value and was a great experience,

Perfect stay in charming apartment on the Mosel

Beautiful spacious, comfortable room with perfect location for exploration of the area. Parking was easy and there was a supermarket a short distance away. The restaurant on the property was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Landhaus Zimmerman and would stay there again when we return to the area.

Very satisfied.

We liked the bonus that this apartment had kitchen facilities as well as the usual bed scenario. Clean, cosy, well appointed, and in good location. The restaurant within the property was good for evening meals.

A hot tip on the river banks ...

Absolutely stunning location on the banks of the Moselle river, with an excellent in-house restaurant. Apartments are spacious and well-equipped. Kitchenette is a nice addition, though we went out for most meals. Overall a very good experience. Whole town could be explored on foot from here, and several breakfast places (not served in-house) are only a short leisurely stroll away.

The unusual heatwave made the room very hot - as there is no air condition, maybe an investment into a fan by the owners should be considered. Note that temps around 39 C (102 F) are not really common in Germany, though.

Ein Urlaub der noch besser war als erwartet

Beim Frühstück waren wir Selbstversorger aber nur weil sich Frühstück furchtbar uns nicht lohnt die Lage direkt an der Mosel ist so genial das Essen dort war einfach genial und es war richtig schön

Prettig, compleet verzorgt, kortom erg goed

De service is perfect, de benadering is erg klantvriendelijk. keurig appartement, ruim en netjes. Het restaurant heeft een goede keuken, en we hebben met smaak gegeten. Het ontbijt werd op de kamer bezorgd en was uitmuntend.

het kussen was erg slap en geeft geen ondersteuning.
