I can say honestly it was the best location, host and apartment we stayed on during our time in the cyclades islands. Thoroughly recommended and a must of you are staying in Koufonisis! Amazing views, beautifully appointed studio

The views are fantastic! The studios have a warm welcoming traditional character. The host and staff are very helpful. The walk to town is enjoyable and only 10 mins and well lit at night

The studios could do with a few screens on the windows as the flies were a little annoying at the time we were there

A place to totally calm & enjoy the excellent view

The room was located on a hill with unique view! Extremely quite & calm. Unfortunately we staid only one night. Next time I will stay more. Very clean and tidy. It had a rustic style with staff like coffee and things for breakfast . The host Giannis is a great person that makes you feel like home and also very discreet!

Cant actually say that I didn't like something. the only thing to mention is that there is a part with incline walking while returning to the room. So if you don't have a car you must be prepared to walk incline. Its 10 minutes walking from the harbor

The path from the apartment down to the road to take us into town could have been a little better as it was a little uneven and Stoney-in places so were conscious of walking . but I guess being on a remote part of the island would be why …

Perfect

An immersive stay in koufounissi. This place couldn’t have been more perfect. The owners make you feel at home, they’re showing you around the island when you arrive, introduce you to their numerous pets, bring you fresh egg in the morning. It was magical and from the room you the most astonishing view on all the beautiful island. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

The stay at Alkionides exceeded my expectations, I loved it.

What a beautiful place this is. The view is amazing, looking over the water and the surrounding islands. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the bed is comfortable, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The kitchenette has a sink, counter top and two burner hot plate with pots and plates, cups etc. Clean linens and the room and bathroom cleaned every day. The location is just out of the main village up a little walking path that rises above the village, about a five to ten minute walk. It was quiet, peaceful and set in beautiful gardens. Jiannis was a wonderful host, he picked us up at the ferry and drove us up to Alkionides with our luggage. He was welcoming and friendly and generously shared some of the incredible produce from the farm. He was helpful and friendly when we needed him, but otherwise gave us our space. Each room has its own patio which is separated from the other rooms patios so you are not right next to other people when you are sitting enjoying the view. The patio also had shade which was lovely. We were here for five nights and could have spent longer.

Amazing location, 10 minutes from the port on foot and 5 minutes or less from lovely restaurants and small beaches. Amazing people, everyone was extremely kind and welcoming! 10/10 would recommend! We will come back for sure!

Dreamy views, gorgeous surrounds

The sea views are incredible - it’s so nice to sit there in the evening with a glass of wine on terrace, watching the sunset. It’s far away enough from the road that it’s almost silent, but close enough to get to places. The walk up the hi didn’t bother us, as it was well lit. I miss the kitties already.

Kitchen could be better equipped- kettle, spatula, bread knife at the very least as it was hard prepping food with a butter knife. Ideally, wine glasses, bowls etc too! Also a shower wall mount.

Breakfast is excellent! Also the views from our room have been superb!! Giannis and the team are so friendly as soon as you arrive. Also Marietta is a lovely person who will do everything to make you feel at home.

A wall bracket for the shower head would offer a little more comfort as well as mosquito nets on the windows.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und hatte immer einen sehr angenehmen frischen Geruch…Typisch griechisch eingerichtet, ganz unser Geschmack. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse: ein Traum!! Edyta, unsere Reinigungsfrau, die auch in der kleinen Anlage wohnt, war total lieb und immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurde (fast zu ) oft gewechselt.

Ein Besen im Zimmer wäre (wegen dem Sand) schön.

Maravilloso

Las vistas desde el apartamento son espectaculares, por la noche se ven las estrellas y solo se escuchan los grillos. Es un remanso de paz acorde con el ritmo tranquilo de la isla. Yanis y Marina son amabilísimos, nos recogieron y llevaron al puerto a las 6:30 am para coger el ferry y se nota que cuidan el complejo con mucho cariño. El jardín de las instalaciones es precioso. Volveríamos sin dudarlo.
