The Mandarine, Orangery Retreat

WOW. Just wow. If you ever find yourself in Southern Italy you need to visit The Mandarin. The Rabatana section of Tursi is absolutely amazing. So peaceful, so relaxing. A true taste of old-world living. I traveled to Tursi with my mother to discover family and relatives that we never knew existed. My cousin who is a local recommended we stay here and were not disappointed. First off, Martine the hostess is wonderful. And for the English speakers, I have to say it was so nice to be able to converse in English since we barely speak Italian. She had grapes and bread at the retreat waiting for us which was a nice touch. The accommodations were wonderful. From the charm of the building to the cats that greet you on the terrace, and the view from the balcony. The view. THE VIEW. Absolutely gorgeous. Note for the drivers, it is a little tricky to navigate Tursi. Especially using GPS. We were turned around a bit but Martine came to the rescue and met us and we followed her to the retreat. Not bad once you know the layout of the land. Thank you so much, Martine! We look forward to visiting again soon!

This is the most wonderful location and the hospitality of the owner was amazing. Will be back
